The Beginning
 Apollo Umbra The Beginning Darkness and shadows The night sky called to him as he left his gated mansion in Gotham City and headed into the city on his motorcycle. He called her Shadow. As he rode down the crowded streets, swerving in and out of traffic, Apollo didn’t care. He had a destination he was heading to. A club he heard some villain named Ledgend hung out at. He didn’t know much about Ledgend, but he knew that this man could have something to do with his parent’s death. This took many years to find out, and he hoped he might be right, but either was he would confront this man, but what he didn’t realize was this was no man.
The city was lit up. The tall building right in front of him began to sprout fireworks out of it! “Mommy!!!” little Apollo said excited as his mother held his hand tight. “Look at it! Sparkles!!” He was so excited; it was the new year and his mother brought him on top of their flat to see the fireworks. He was used to Dubai, he loved the city, but he had no idea just a few years after that they would be moving to Houston.
Apollo excelled in school. No matter where he lived, he could make friends. He was a friendly kid, and he grew to be a nice man. No matter what he did, he would succeed at it, but he failed at one thing. Saving his mother and father from the monster who killed them.
In high school he grew to love Texas. He was a football and baseball player. He could have gone to college on either scholarship, but he decided to leave sports behind and go for the academic scholarship he was offered at Stanford University. He wanted to live the good life as one of the tech guys who graduated from there.
His happiness was cut short upon hearing of his parents slaying. He was in his second year at Stanford and his life was shattered. Not everyone was kind, there were monsters out there in the dark, and he couldn’t rescue his parents. That is when he decided to use his knowledge in technology for something else. Patrolling the streets and seeking justice for his parents.
Each year he came up with something better. A better vehicle, a better program for patrolling, a better weapon for catching the bad guys. The years became frustrating and soon his personality began to change, he began to get darker. He failed each time the year anniversary went by of his parent’s death. He was frustrated because Apollo never failed at anything.
After graduation and receiving his Master’s in Computer Science and his Bachelor’s in Business, he began his start up company. He called his company Apollo Corporation. He focused on technology and surveillance and soon after his first government contract, he received some more. With that, he started up his company all over the world, including Dubai.
He loved his job as founder of Apollo Corporation. But in the back of his mind; he knew he was still failing. The killer was out there, and he had to find him. He made his home in Gotham City, but he travelled quite often. He stood on the balcony of his mansion in Gotham City. He was surrounded by a rod ironed gate, but he knew that didn’t stop them. The darkness was out there, and the ghosts of his parents still haunted him. He had to find this man, and he would use any new technology he created, and anyone that would help him track down the killer and bring them to justice. © Polaris Star Creations
