Please Read: Need Help

So, it has become a thing in my mind that maybe I should elaborate on the go fund me and everything leading to it, why I keep pushing it, and so forth, so bear with me, here we go.

I have been a home health care provider since 2003, first for my grandmother and then for my father in law, and stayed diligently at each of their sides up to their passing in 2012 and 2022 respectively. I also lost my mom in 2019, many people know that she was supporting me, but for those that didn't, now you do. Why? Because when I took care of my father in law I was not paid, I didn't even think to do the In Home Support Services route I had done for my grandmother because it was never about money for me. I only did IHSS with my grandmother because her medications were so expensive that my mom and I couldn't afford them. To me, the end goal was always to care for my loved ones no matter the cost to myself finan, physically, mentally, and so forth. When my mom died things became hard but my wife, who is permanently disabled, and I still managed, plus my father in law was helping with shelter and such. With his passing we no longer had anyone or anything to fall back on.

I did briefly have a job with Walmart from early December to mid January, and was under the impression that this was temporary to prove myself so they would hire me as that was what was said, instead it was merely seasonal and I have been looking for a new job ever since. You might ask, Nat why didn't you just go back to home health care since you already did that twice before and trained/graduated to be a medical assistant? The answer is super simple: my body is a wreck. Between fibromyalgia, the car accident I was in back in 2019 causing irreparable damage to my lower back and hips, and the wear and tear from home health care which included picking up 200+ pound patients, I'm in agonizing pain. I have been denied disability more than three times because they say I can work despite my physical and mental health, so here I am trying to prove that either they're wrong, or that I can overcome the pain to support my wife and our fur babies.

That said, that's where the go fund me comes in, because I am now two months behind on lot rent, which includes my electric bill (that's now $2300 because of the late fees), my water bill (little over $100), my gas bill (maybe $10 thanks to the fact we don't have central heat), and the property taxes ($530 so that we don't lose the house as we don't own the land under it) and the stress is unimaginable. I have had a handful of interviews but no concrete offers (if anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them because I'm so worried about finding something I can do despite the use of a cane) and I just want to keep us above water in the meantime. I just don't want us living in the car on the streets, especially with two cats (and please don't ask why I don't give them up, I inherited them when my mom died and couldn't bear to give them up, they are our children in every sense of the word.)

I have not made the go fund me lightly, it is extremely hard for me to ask for help, always has been and always will be. I did not put the full amount I need because to me it seemed wrong, almost like I was begging people to take care of us which is not the case. Every single dime donated goes on the aforementioned bills as well as gas for the car to get to my appointments and food for the cats (I have food stamps for my wife and myself so I'm not concerned about us like I am them.) I'm willing to do any and all edits to justify your donation, I am fairly efficient in photoshop and can do both simple and extra edits, manips, gifs, door knockers, profile images, banners, and beyond. I'm willing to edit beyond the site as well such as tumblr layout images, book covers, fan letters, proof and beta reading, character and world development, resume building, and more. All my prices are absolutely negotiable, just message me and we can work something out if that is better for you, I'm not above offering any and all services of mine in order to justify whatever you can or want to donate.

UPDATE, 3/29/23: As of 10:00am I start my new job at Walmart Neighborhood Market, the water and gas have been paid as have the property taxes, we just need help catching up on three months back rent (totaling $3500 total) and any help is appreciated.
