Buddy's Backstory and his journey

Paxton Archibald Maygard was orphaned but quickly adopted by the Cheever family, a family of half-mice and half-rats at an early age. Tragically, after living a short life with his adopted family, the parents were caught in the cross-fire of rats and weasel gangsters terrorizing their neighborhood one night. As a result, they barricaded the Cheevers indoors and deadly rat poison to gas the Cheevers.

Buddy, along with his brothers Jackie and Julio managed to play dead when the mobsters stormed the house long enough until the hitrats cleared out. The three brothers were able to evade capture from the remaining mobsters when diving into the sewers. For the next four years, the two older brothers worked together to struggle between part-time jobs, pickpocketing, and side con-artist hustles throughout the metropolitan city of Manasseh.

One night when the older brother Jackie was offered a job as a driver for a street-level rat gangster to rob money from a group of pitbulls on the outskirts of Manasseh City. Not beforelong, the same con-artist older brother Jackie returned home with more than three suitcases full of money. Jackie J. Cheever returned home to tell his hamster step-brother Buddy that they were family to a powerful, wealthy, yet notorious Boss of an organized crime syndicate - the Ratdriguez mob.

Jackie J. Cheever, the oppurtunist half-rat and half-mouse older brother was an oppurtunist starving for wealth and lavish lifestyle they had never lived. He pulled their youngest brother Julio or 'Louie' aside to convey the dream of having more video games, toys, and constant pizza to a reality.

Absolutely horrified by the news and the retaliation of a life of crime, Buddy did his best to disuade their youngest sibling and discourage him from joining Jackie in their endeavors of heists, robbery, and the dangerous company of other predatorial animals. However, Buddy's advice only fell on deaf ears as little Julio was distracted by the notion of every video game and toy he could ever want. Julio hopelessly fell for Jackie's promise of a wealthy living and privileged lifestyle as he followed him to the life of mansions just like the pied-piper, leaving Buddy the hamster to travel alone in the world.

Not long after leaving Kansas, Buddy hitchhiked into Oklahoma to a remote sleepy town of Elwood County where he traveled on foot for days. On the third day of his hike through the boonies, Buddy succumbed to dehydration and sleep deprivation thus causing his collapse where a group of crows and a hillbilly rabbit discovered him. A large bounty was posted for everyone who sees the rabbit to hand over to the Elwood County Sheriff for a reasonably grand reward. The wanted posters identified the rabbit as 'Wild Blitz.'

Wild Blitz Rabbitwood was the very hillbilly rabbit who hauled the passed-out Buddy the Hamster over his shoulders and into the nests of the Rabbitwood family's derelict farmhouse. Days and nights went by before Buddy was nourished and rested back to health. Upon waking up, he was ordered by an elderly rabbit woman of the redneck rabbit family to leave the house once he was up. From then on, Blitz the Rabbit Bandit and Buddy the Hamster became an unlikely duo of friends.  

From then on, Buddy and Blitz would travel on foot and in the rabbit bandit's truck, not knowing he was traveling with a redneck rabbit renegade until they were pursued by a pack of dogs and pigs in Oklahoma state trooper uniforms. Or 'the Boomer Troopers' as Blitz often referred to them.  The canines and boars in uniform stayed on the duo's trail until Blitz opened the window of his truck to unleash an ACME arsenal onto their pathway.

Once reaching Tumbleweed County, Buddy decided to make a getaway from the bunny bumpkin fugitive and find a way out of Oklahoma. There, he returned to the life of applying for and getting fired from one job to the next, constantly in a tattered grungy life of obscurity and anonymity. Buddy was the easy target to push around, step over, and prey for oppurunistic scammers on the streets to pulvarise and rob.

Eventually, all roads led him from Tumbleweed County to sneaking into a train heading east and into Merriwether City where he continued a life of homelessness. With an absence of job oppurtunites and rejected applications, the homeless hamster was forced to panhandle for coffee shop money and occasionally sneak into a hotel room, a bench behind various halls on college campuses, and sleeping in libraries in his every day life.

After socializing into friendly terms with a locally-owned coffee shop was when Buddy finally obtained gainful employment as a barista. He quickly became the barista everyone was friendly with both customers and coworkers, through his sociable personality, he made a considerable income in both tips and checks. On his last day of employment at the coffee shop, his accident-prone nature got the best of him when a towering stack of dishes fell over to break into hundreds of shards.
 As a result, the hamster was fired and banned from ever returning again. His presiding manager went so far as to curb stomp and flung him into a dumpster behind their establishment. From that very moment of losing his job, he met a young lady, a mouse who entered his life and changed everything for him.

He met a mouse girl on that fateful day. For the both of them, everything in their lives were about to change. He was instantly star-struck by the mouse girl. The two instantly hit it off and became the best of friends in a remarkably short amount of time. She let him stay at her apartment where over the next several weeks they bonded over art projects, collaborating on Halloween costumes, filming homemade music videos, and countless movie-and-pizza nights.  Both Buddy the Hamster and Chissy the Mouse were inseparable best friends who would eventually travel out of state in the year to come later.

What the neither of them were prepared to hear was that Chissy herself was orphaned at a young age. Before she was admitted to a boarding school was when Her parents died in a fire set by none other than the notorious ring of mobsters, the Ratdriguez Mafiosos. The very family who Buddy discovered his adopted family was directly related to. While on a stroll through the park, Buddy stumbled into his estranged step-brother Jack. The two spent over half of an entire afternoon, Jack telling Buddy the horrors of what the rat and weasel mobsters forced him to participate in. Only the most conflicting and the very worst was to come in the ensuing events afterwards.
