Love story madlib

When we first met, you looked adorable and goofy. I couldn't believe my eyes! You smelled like nachos and walked as graceful as a giraffe. I couldn't wait to speak to you.

I shyly asked you if I could have your friendship. I could see a look of happiness in your eyes. You hesitated for a moment, then gave me a nod.

I finally got to take you on our first date. I loved spending time with you. You could make me laugh so easily, like no one had before. When you touched me, I felt shivers up my spine. When you looked at me, I could see joy. I knew we were meant to be together.

After a long night, I was so thrilled to bring you home. I longed to hug you again. You look at me and said "It's been a blast. Let's hit Nacho Taco tomorrow!" I just knew. You liked me and I liked you.

Here we are after all this time. It feels like fifteen years! I look forward to 100 more. You make me want to leap and I will love you forever. Nobody else could hug me, like you do.

Always yours,
Me

Holding up the phone

Kim wasn't much of one to do huge romantic gestures or go out of her way to show someone how she felt. Not since her previous relationship with her best friend, Ron. For quite some time after that she convinced herself to focus on crime and saving the world however she could. But one person in town caught her attention, and even though they had never spoken, she could feel her cheeks turning red. Thank goodness that magic or science had not found a way to cause embarrassment or any feeling that caused one's cheeks to turn pink, slowly being sucked into a vortex and out of reality.

The person's name was Robin and his name was the most that she knew about him. Over and over, her friends tried to convince her to make a move regardless of how uncomfortable the situation could end up being. "The worst is you never speak to the person and hide out for a while." One of her friends joked. Deciding to just go for it, Kim grabbed her iphone and scrolled through it for some cheesy song as she made her way down the gravel road. It took some time before she arrived at Robin's place but for Kim it only felt like minutes. Traveling around consistently made long walks seem like a short walk through the park. Pressing play on her phone, she held the device up into the area, secretly hoping that he wouldn't notice and any awkwardness of serenading something she had never spoke to would be avoided.

Birthday drabble

Birthdays had never been something Kim had cared much for. The only plus she found from them was that with each birthday meant one year closer to being part of the royal guard. The best news she could ever hope to receive was on her birthday. The memory of her mom holding a piece of parchment as Kim arrived home from lessons for the day. "How was horseback riding?" Kim's mom dropped the letter onto the table that was in need of replacement.

Kim's eyes followed the folded up paper as it fell from her mom's hands. Without hesitation she snatched up the letter and unfolded it. Her eyes sparkled as she saw the words she had been longing to hear since applying. "I got in!" Giving another happy glance over the perfectly written words, she began waving it around, caring little if anything else were to happen on this day. Her birthday.

AC May 2022

Things weren’t like they were back when Kim lived in Middleton. There were people that she knew from different missions but her friends, family and everything she knew were still miles and miles away. On some level even her and Ron went their own ways for now and Kim was now left to experience new and different things without her trusty sidekick. That included returning to awkwardly asking people out and hoping that nothing extremely embarrassing occurs. On some level it meant even discovering new things about herself that during high school she wouldn’t have considered. Life was about new experiences and in order to truly find oneself, sometimes chances had to be taken.

After hours of building up courage, as well as a quick trip to kick the behind of one of her supposed villains, Kim headed out to where she had heard passing words of the person’s preferred hang out. Stepping into the room and glancing in each direction until her bright green eyes locked on the person that she believed to be Persephone. Brushing her flaming red hair away from her face, she confidently, or seemingly confidently to be more accurate, approached her and tapped on his shoulder. “Hi, I’m Kim.” Despite saving the world a time or two, Kim wasn’t the best at talking in awkward situations. “Persephone, right?” Waiting for a moment but continuing before anything could be said, “I’ve heard your name from some people who think you’re fantastic and just had to meet you.” Her voice was upbeat but also calm. “Anyways, I was thinking maybe we could go out sometime. I hear Doctor Strange 2 is a really good movie.”
