The Well Of MĂmisbrunnr.

 The Well Of Mímisbrunnr.

The three wells of Yggdrasil known as Mímisbrunnr, Hvergelmir and Urdarbrunnr were not to be trifled with,
They contained powerful waters that connected with the cosmic energy of the universes and for those who were aware of Yggdrasil's wells knew the liquid came with a sacrifice.

Odin had heard of these stories of Giants, Aesir and Vanir that came to the well, speaking to the Guardian, Mimir as he shared the sacrifices that would be needed. Some would accept the terms for one glass of water while others would turn and away walk away, unable to meet the demands. However, upon this day a man in walked towards the guardian, Mimir and would say: " I wish for one glass of Mimisbrunnr's waters."

The guardian, Mimir, looked at the young King, for he knew who he was and said
Mimir:
"For one glass, Odin, King of Asgard, it will require one of your eyes to be thrown into the well. Once this is done, the cosmic energy that fills these waters will come to life and be ready for you to drink. Then you will find enlightened. Do you, Odin Borson, accept the wells demands?"

Odin knew that a sacrifice would be required, he was just unsure what it may have been until now.
He stared at the guardian for a moment. The king took a deep breath as his words followed.

Odin:
" I accept."
Another short moment was given as the tension grew between them both. Odin, breathing slowly but steadily as he tried to compose himself would bring his right hand to his eye, stopping inches away.
It wasn't an easy choice to make but as he looked at his blurred fingers that inches away, he took one final breath before the sudden strike of his fingers gouging at his eye.

The pain was immense as he had a firm hold of his eyeball within his fingers and pulled it out from its socket. A firm yank was given and there, before Mimir, with the stains of blood on his fingers was an eyeball resting in Odin's Palms.

Mimir saw that the sacrifice was made and said nothing towards Odin, instead he gestured with his hand to throw the eyeball into the well.

Odin did just that and as he did, the eye 'plopped' in sound that echoed out before an aura of purple and blue energy was released in form of light from the dark well. Mimir would pull up the bucket that glowed and once high enough, use a horn to scoop up a glass of water and pass it to the King.

Odin stared for a moment before his stained red hand reached out for the horn as the water, flowed with this purple and blue energy. He closed his eye and then drank the first sip as omniscience flowed through his body.

The God of Three Tales

(More will be added when thought of)

Tale One: The AllFather.

-This Odin is the traditional looking Odin. Older in age (appearance around 50.)
-One eye (Depending on if I use eye patch or Glass eye)

The story of this Odin is that he has learned from his past mistakes and lives with regrets and now has a soul purppse to prevent Ragnarök for as long as possible, to save the lives of all those that are part of the nine realms. His is what he feels he owes to all for his past regrets and has vowed, as long as he is alive, he will prevent it - for as long as possible.

He sacrificed an Eye for knowledge at the Well Of Wisdom, doing so to learn all he could about Ragnarök, how he could prevent it and also, to learn about other realms that are connected by the Bifrost/Yggdrasil. He believes that knowledge is the power to help others.

He hung himself for nine days on the Branch of Yggdrasil for more knowledge and to learn the Codex Runicus (Runes) that would activate the magic of the Bifrost. The Rainbow bridge was a way for him to keep peace (previously an idea to invade other realms but, his epiphany delayed this.)

Odin Hunts/Tracks down mythical creatures that also have used the Bifrost.

He travels to other realms to wander, learn and observe.

Tale Two: The Epiphany of a young Warrior

Age range: around 30+. This is during or after Odin's epiphany that war is unjust and unfair. It is also the time that he learns of Ragnarök which triggers him to believe that if wars continue, they would be the reason why the prophecy will begin. He is still learning more about it.
During these times is when he will build-up to the points of Trading an Eye at the well of knowledge and hanging himself for nine days.

This Odin is becoming benevolent. He has the same regrets his older self has and is dealing with them. He now aims to do his best to keep balance and order, along with other self-sacrifices.

Tale Three: The Arrogant God

Age range: 30 and below (give or take)
This Odin is the war-driven, Selfish, Arrogant and invader of lands. He has no regrets and only cares for his father's blessing. To impress him by being a great warrior.

His father raised him to be a fighter and was tough on him but Odin respected his father as a Great King.
During this time, Odin got his title as the God Of War because wherever he went to fight, death was all that followed.
He has little respect for people that are not Aesir (Ice-er) Gods (those that have no powers.)
He also did have wisdom but was using it to channel strategic warfare, which is why he was so good at battle.

It was around this time that he learned of Yggdrasil's cosmic powers that could connect all the realms but he didn't understand the Codex Runicus (runes). - This would later be delayed when Odin changes his ways - He told his father he had a great plan that would allow them to strike when the enemies did not see them coming or were prepared.

This Odin only cared about winning and whatever he wanted. And any in his way would face his wraith
