A starter I wrote based on a fanfiction novel
Anders was on the run from the Templars, and when he had taken refuge in some, to his luck, abandoned ruin in the Brecilian Forest, he had hoped that this would discourage them from following. Sadly he was mistaken. And he was trapped.
The room he had thought having a backdoor or secret escape tunnel hidden behind some curtain. He muttered an oath between clenched teeth. The only place that could hide him was a wardrobe or perhaps a closet. But the blonde mage, with his bright green robe and long blonde hair, pulled back in a ponytail, wiped the sweat from his brow.
It was the sound of footsteps, heavy boots scraping against stone and voices, at least six Templars, which convinced him to push aside his fear for dark and confined spaces, and stepped inside the closet, closing it, only watching the room through a small opening. A low oath escaped him when he noticed that his footprints were visible in the dust covering the floor and they led to the closet. His arrest was going to be imminent and he saw himself brought back in chains, faced bruised beyond recognition. The door swung open and in entered the Templar Captain, eyes narrowed as he looked around the room. Then his gaze landed on the closet, weaving his hands in the air the Templar aimed his holy smite towards the closet, which made the wooden furniture break down and he flew backwards.
The sound of broken glass filled his ear and there was a blinding light, something was pulling him in and there was like this soundless explosion and for a moment he found himself floating in the air, surrounded by rotating shards of glass. He was no longer in a ruin. He was instead looking up at a grey sky, a cool breeze played with his hair before whatever kept him floating disappeared and he started to fall rapidly. He hit the ground hard with a loud thud, a moan escaping him before it all went black and he passed out.
