How to Audition.

Follow the steps for your audition form and send this in a Message.

Step One:

You must read and sign the Rules. Your Audition will be ignored if you haven't signed them. So, why spend all your time writing up a brilliant starter to have it dismissed?

Step Two:

Once you know the rules, write up a multi-para starter. Do not send us a Novella starter, thinking you will get the Role because it's long, roles will be given to who embodies a character the most effectively.

Step Three:

Address the message as the characters name. for example; "Auditioning for the Role of ...." DON'T send your audition in blogs or in a comment. It has to be a Message or it will not be considered.

Fill out the Survey

and send it along with your Starter.

1. Why did you choose this Character?

2. Why should we pick you for the role?

3. What's the main reason you wish to join this group?

4. How many active profiles to you have at the moment?

5. How often are you usually online?

6. How long have you been roleplaying and what verses do you have experience in?

7. Give us some feedback about our Group.

In addition to the aforementioned, for the case of established profiles please include

8. What species is your character? and what social position would your character maintain within the group structure.

9. What inspired you to create your character.

If you do audition for an character original to yourself, please include in your audition a brief bio about your character both during the vampire ownership of werewolves and after the wolves have gained their freedom.

Rules

WELCOME TO WIN OR DIE! RPG.
Rules must be read and signed before applications will be read.
Before we begin let us throw out the biggest and most important disclaimer on this site.

This can clearly be seen on any blog page because it bears repeating.  Drama is a blocking offence.  If any dispute is taken to status' or talking behind someone else's back parties involved will be blocked and their roles re-opened.  There is no 3 strike rule here, a one time warning and then the second offence has you out on your ass.

While drama will not be tolerated, you are encouraged to approach the RPG profile in PM with the links of anyone involved and what proof you have, that means screen caps.  Moderators will study the material and contact all involved for their story/proof and should it be found that specific members are responsible they will be blocked with no repercussion to the one being bullied.
There will be NO OOC harassment of any kind tolerated.

RULES

1.
Literacy required.
We understand that not all RPers speak/write English as their first language, really that is none of our business.  All that matters is that other members will be able to understand you.  If asked to resend please just double check and resend your message so that we may all interact smoothly.  Please know the difference between there, their and they're and there will be absolutely no text talk outside of a text being sent within a reply

EX. Groaning Conall reads the screen and runs a hand over his face before typing out his reply. "Sure, will be there soon.  TTYL."  Slipping the cell back into his pocket he returns to the grocery list currently held in his large hand.

2.
Required length.
We are a multi-para role playing group.  As far as our group is concerned multi-para is at least three, well formed paragraphs with correct punctuation, including quotation marks.  See the above example.  If you prefer to use something beside quotation marks be sure that the dialogue is framed as if quotation marks are there simply replacing them for your preferred symbol.

EX.  Groaning Conall reads the screen and runs a hand over his face before typing out his reply. -Sure, will be there soon.  TTYL.-  Slipping the cell back into his pocket he returns to the grocery list currently held in his large hand.

3.
Group rating: 21+.
In this group there will be graphic sex, violence, language.  As a "spin-off" of HBO's True Blood anything that you can expect there, expect to find here.  Let's be honest, there is no way to VERIFY that each character is written by an individual aged twenty-one or over so we are going off of the honours system.  If you are faint of heart or cant stand thoroughly dark themes please let me know, I will refer you to some great disney/cartoon verse RPGs.  That may sound harsh but it is not, I am completely serious, I will happily help you find an RPG that fits you better that we can/will.
4.
Activity.
Please DO NOT Audition if you don't plan on being active, that being said,  we are not ridiculous  and will not ask you to be around every day for 24 hours, we pride ourselves on being practical. We all know that Real life can get rather hectic and it always comes first. But we ask you to be online at least 3-5 times a week. And in your Online times, we want you to actually talk to the Members, not just sign in and nib-nose before signing out.  As soon as we notice that you might not be coming back, we will put your character on hold.  After a reasonable amount of time (variable amount depending on necessity of the character to group SL)  has passed without you returning we will reopen your role without a warning. You will be notified that the role has been reopened due to your inactivity and you can always try to audition again if the role is still open and you decide to return.

5.
Abandoning.
If there comes a time when  you know that you will not be able to maintain the role, or you simply realized that this group wasn't for you, don't hesitate to inform us about it. Don't be afraid. We will understand it, again we can happily help you to find an RPG that is more suitable to you.
6.
Hiatus.
If you have to take a break just let us know! We won't have a problem holding your character for you.  Be warned that after a month of inactivity a warning will be sent to any known profiles of yours, after another two weeks on non-response you will be notified that the role has reopened and, as stated above, you will have the opportunity to re-audition thought that does not guarantee that you will receive the role back, you may be asked to audition for a different role or if the issue is recurring you will be asked not to audition for the RPG again.

7.
Auditioning & Characters.
If after reading through all these guidelines, you are still Interested in auditioning for your favorite Role? If your desired Role is already taken, don't hesitate to give another one of your interest a try. We are also taking characters original to yourself should they fit the group. If you plan to Audition for an unlisted character, make sure that you provide us with a back story. If you are coming from another verse, please have a way how the verses could match and how the characters could work with each other. For the audition itself, please write it from the Character's point of view. You are allowed to audition from any page you have, you don't have to make the a page for the role first in order to audition, in fact that is preferred so you are not left with time wasted making the perfect profile only to receive a new role.

8.
Members & Mains:
All group members must be listed as your mains, please make that a priority when finding/creating a layout as you will need to have an area that lists current members.  You may do so in whatever form you want, either as a group master list or lists broken down by character type.  You must also be sure to interact with each member of the RPG.  You are allowed mains outside of the group (we are not controlling by any means) and you may or may not want to keep a group list separate from your personal list.

EX. Werewolves: Conall Morgan ,  Character a, character b.  Vampires: Joe Schmoe, average joe, jobless joe.  Humans: Bloodbag 1, bloodbag 2.  etc.

9.
T&L, S&L, ETC.
This is a big no-no.  We understand that some people are seeking RP relationships for their characters or want to celebrate that their character is in one but if we see a member of the group edit their display name to include any variation of such you will be asked once to remove it.  The only acceptable follow up to a display name is (Hiatus) or (vacation) or if you must a date of return.  As stated before, this is a literate RPG and we all want to be taken seriously.  If you go through our friends list you will see that there are no "friends" with such displays and it will remain that way, the first time we see a non-member edit their display to such they will be deleted on sight.  Another thing that members may not have in their display is their sexual orientation.  Having it on your profile is one thing, that is completely alright, but not in your display.

10.
Neat layout.
All members will be expected to have clean looking layouts.  If you need help or simply do not want to do your layout let Conall know and he will gladly do up your profile.  The catch is that it will be the a layout provided by Vicarious, Violent Ends, Double Dead, High Times or another resource site that Conall can work around the coding for because he does not make his own layouts and will never claim to make his own layouts.

More will be added soon
