1x1 Power Trip World to Explore: Worlds of DC ~ Suicide Squad Magic in Gotham was typically held at the darkest corners , which for a dark city like Gotham sounded almost impossible. The day-to-day runnings relied on enough lowlifes and masked criminals that magic barely had its place. The mystical arts , however , did worm its way into Gotham streets. At first it looked like there was a new drug , as general criminal activity dropped on the streets. It seemed that overnight , Gotham went from having bustling city nightlife , to silence , and Harley didn't do well in silence. Harley had to find out what was going on. With a baseball bat slid into its holder , the blonde took to the streets herself , hoping she'd find some answers or at least a cop to occupy her time. As she wandered , the lack of activity was starting to get to her. Not even a bat was in the sky. No beacon of hope , or fear depending on your side of the line. But then , there was no sirens. Not even a car alarm could be heard wailing. She could have sworn she'd heard a cat meow from a block away , but maybe she was just going insane. It wouldn't exactly have been the first time. Was it her crazy mind that meant it hadn't affected her yet ?? Or was it simply a matter of time. Turning the corner , she saw a green swirl of mist , which would have been mistaken for a Joker or Scarecrow project had it not sparkled in the light. It was trickling from one of the drains , lingering a little too long for her liking. She had no idea what it was exactly , but it didn't belong in Gotham City , not even with the tricks and schemes that did roam throughout the city. β I don't think even a giant hammer 's gonna get us outta this one !! β But was the Bat even able to help in this situation ?? Gotham City needed someone new. They didn't even have to be a hero , Harley wasn't one herself by anyone's standards. After all , it'd take someone who could think like Gotham's underworld , to save it.
