Lion Frog Dojo, Attacked?! Part 2.
“Who was that...better yet, what was that?” Adam asked himself, sitting on the couch. The television still being on from when he left to check in with Alpha 6 about where the blast came from, though it was very weird to him that the robot was not able to pick up on the energy source. But, Alpha 6 did manage to pinpoint the location which Adam followed. All he seen was a figure in black that then vanished after Adam shouted at him.
The news coverage on television looked to have been ending, some of the newscasters saying that the owner of the Dojo wasn’t available to make a comment. Hearing that part made Adam chuckle, “if you only knew man, if you only knew.” He then laid his head back, looking up at the ceiling. Aine would be so freaked out if this stuff happened just before she left... after that thought came a flooding of more thoughts. Ranging from who or what that mysterious figure could be and if Aine is alright back out in Krakoa.
During the flooding of his thoughts, one very specific one came back to him, “oh! My food!” Adam jumped up and made his way back to the kitchen, the leftover food that Aine made still being on the counter. He now puts the food on his plate and into the microwave it went to heat up. Now, he sits at the kitchen table with his hot plate of food. Before eating, he looked at the chair Aine would be sitting in if she was there. Taking a deep breath before he started eating his food.
Mean while...
Bradley and the other instructors are still at the Lion Frog Dojo while the police and the news crew left the area. They all sat in front of the slightly damaged building, “man, this tops it, things are so f***ing weird around here now,” that being said by an instructor named Jamie. “Come to think of it, there was always strange things happening around here,” said by another instructor whose name is Brian, who continued, “notice how he’ll vanish randomly when something happens? He’ll be gone for a while. And we’re just left behind to continue running the Dojo.”
Now Bradley speaks up, “hey, calm down guys. Besides...whenever he does do that, we get raises,” he joked a bit, then added: “you guys do bring up some points, but we do owe him a lot. He was the one that taught us what we know, and we were some of his students when we were all kids...including him. He was a teenager in high school while we were in elementary school. We wouldn’t know what we know about martial arts without him.”
“Yeah, you got a point there. Not just him either, remember his friends he would teach with at times? Rocky, Tommy and even Jason who was around him for a bit.” After Jamie said that, the group of instructors laughed a bit, “yeah, and you mentioned Jason AND Tommy, they’ve got a history together! Remember their friend, Zack? Hip Hop Kido was awesome!” They all laughed after Brian added that.
Suddenly...a figure in black can be seen standing in front of them, the very same Grim Reaper looking figure that the Black Ranger had seen earlier.
The Dojo instructors jump when one of them noticed the figure first, that being the one named Brian, “What the?! Where did you come from?!” This is followed by Bradley asking: “can we help you???” Long pause, no response. All the black cloak wearing figure did was take a few steps closer to them, causing all of them to jump up to their feet. “Sir, this isn’t Halloween, wrong month for that. If you don’t want any help with anything, you can just leave or we will be forced to call the cops!” Jamie speaking up, giving a warning.
The speed in the figures walk sped up towards Jamie. “What the f-...GAHHHH!!!!” A punch hit him directly in his chest, with power behind it! So much force that it was almost like a blast, impact pushing the Bradley and Brian to the left and right of the dojo. As for Jamie who took the full force of the punch, he was sent flying through the door of the Dojo! And crashing into the wall. His body falling on the ground, motionless. Both Bradley and Jamie started pushing themselves up, in pain, they are both just regular humans after all...but then energy blasts were sent their way before both of them were fully up to their feet. This sent them flying an even greater distance.
Back at Adam’s house.
He had just finished eating the food, putting the plate into the sink when his communicator went off, “Alpha, what’s go-” before he could finish, he can hear his robot sidekick freaking out. “ADAM! Get here quick! The Dojo is being attacked again, and the instructors-” as soon as Adam heard Instructors he reacted quickly. Morphing again and teleporting straight to his Dojo, and once he’s there he can see the black coat wearing creature blasting up the Dojo, doing a lot more damage! But he didn’t see that the Black Ranger had just arrived because he’s behind him. Adam charged quickly at the man in black and kicked his back, with so much force that it sent him flying out of the Dojo’s front door.
The figure then quickly pushed himself up, his cloak still intact and he turned around. The Black Power Ranger was charging after him again but he vanished yet again. “YOU COWARD!!!!" Adam shouted from the top of his lungs. Then he turned around, seeing his instructor Jamie on the ground. He ran over to his side, checking on his motionless body. Alpha 6 now makes his way outside on to the floor of the Dojo, “Adam...Bradley and Brian...their outside...”
“What?!” He runs outside, looking around and spotting them both of the ground. He ran to Bradley first, finding that getting no motion from him as well. “No...” then moving away from him and on to Brian, who did show some movement, only for a brief moment though. “Reaper....” is all that he said before passing out. Knowing that he can’t leave to try and find whatever is doing this, he has to stay and help his downed instructors. But when that is done, he is going to get laser focused on finding out who or what is doing this.
The Cops arrive yet again, followed by the local news station...and then obviously after that, Ambulance Trucks to help with the victims of the attack. And the Black Ranger had to be the one to speak to them. The residents of Angel Grove seeing the Black Ranger on the news, “citizens, this was an attack by something that is evil. But I, along with the other Power Rangers have protected you all before. And I will not stop doing that. I will find out who or what this thing is, and I will stop him. I promise you all that!” He then teleported away after saying that.
