Menaki Haragi, the Half-Elf Wizard

Walking in two worlds but truly belonging to neither, half-elves combine what some say are the best qualities of their elf and human parents: human curiosity, inventiveness, and ambition tempered by the refined senses, love of nature, and artistic tastes of the elves.

Menaki embodied every bit of what the lore said about half elves. His father, a human bard, traveling from city to city all over the world, as dangerous as it may be. And his mother, a beautiful elf from the elven stronghold of Evereska, the two met, fell in love and some years later, Menaki was born.

Menaki was always a curious one. One who was always interested in the arcane after a traveling wizard passed through Evereska. So when he reached adulthood, his father took him with him on his trips and Menaki ended up in the Neverwinter Academy, studying his magics, and becoming an official wizard! Unfortunately, a plague known as the Walking Death destroyed the academy, but Menaki survived, yet his friends were lost.

Now alone in this world, as he hadn't heard word from his mother and father in years, now 28 years old, still a young half-elf in EVERY regard, Menaki has become a bit of a wanderer himself, just exploring the world, ending up wherever he may, and exploring everything he possibly can.
