Illyra & the Force, by Four.

Everyone at some time or another was guilty of holding back. Not saying all there was to say or giving out all the details to a given situation. The trick then was to listen to what wasn't said!
Most people without knowing gave away information that they were trying to withhold without even realizing it.  Their choice of words, the tone in which they said them and the moments of hesitation as they accessed what to say next.
I'd realized this when I was young.  I'd sit watch, listen to my Father, to my Mother to the people that came to see them. The way they lied.
I'd notice the shift in their eyes and the way they moved, careful not to expose it.
It wasn't perfect, it never gave you the knowledge of full exposure but it was enough. Enough to know when something else was a foot, even when to roughly expect it.

I glanced towards Illyria, catching her gaze and held for a second. A moment would have been too long. It would have given away to Grey Star that we were aware he was holding back.

"Sobrik's heavily fortified, Storm troopers,  B1 Droids, Imperial probe Droids.. You name it. To get close you've gotta cut a path through them and do it quick. First sight of you, they're gonna send transmissions reporting you and it will be over before you've even got close."

It was the first time Grey Star had actually paused in his eye contact with us. He was telling the truth. I nodded and turned to face Illyria. We'd have our work cut of us, we just had to hope that whatever Grey Star was really up to, it didn't include notifying Sobrik or the Empire that we were coming as soon as we walked out of the door.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Lets find a high point where we can see for ourselves, what we're up against" I suggested glancing across at Illyria as we mounted our Undicur Speeders and set of towards the coordinates Grey Star had given.
I liked how felt riding them. It was almost like flying. The feeling of floating on air and the wind as it hit pushing past your face. It didn't matter how the rough the terrain was beneath you, you never  really felt it. Instead it passed beneath you in a blur like the countryside around you.

Sobik was located upon the lower side of a sloping cleft, tucked away and fortified even more by naturally forming walls of rock that surrounded it upon three sides. Coming to a halt behind a large boulder that we intended to use in a bid to hide our speeders we made our way on foot across to the rocky ledge: dropping down to lay upon our stomachs as we surveyed the scene below without being seen.

It confirmed what Grey Star had said. Heavy military droids patrolled the streets and paths leading up to the Sobik's entrance and each intersection was man'd by Stormtrooper's, Captains with Commanders making their way between each station.

It would be a matter of timing as much as skill in battle to get our way through. the heavy artillery droids patrolled back forth upon roughly a 120 meter stretch of road each.  It took them 10 minutes once out of their sight range before you'd be in target once again. Each station took a Commander, 6 minuets to arrive at. Four to have sight of. And once there, they would stay for roughly 2 minuets before making their way to the next.
That gave us four minuets to get passed a station and into Sobik. Four minuets to combat a stations Captain and Stormtroopers before before we  discovered. After that Sobik would be on high alert and our mission would become increasingly more dangerous and impossible by the minuet.

As I tilted my head to look at Illyria, I wondered if I should suggest that we turn back. The odds of succeeding we stacked incredibly high against us. It would basically be sheer luck. But instead I heard myself asking, "Are you ready?"
I felt myself moving.  My feet slipping across the rocks and crunching upon the lose dirt and debris as I navigated the safest path, the one that gave us the most cover down the side of the rock wall.

It was slow. Tormentingly slow, knowing at any moment we could be discovered. A casual glance upwards along the rock face would give us away. Knowing any sound to loud, we made would cause that glance!
By the time we reached the small ledge of rock, that was positioned about 20 meters above the Station, my heart was beating fast. Leaning forward, I gambled a glance over the edge, waiting for the moment the commander would leave and be out of sight. Waiting for the moment the patrolling droids would have their detection scopes facing away from us and as it approached I glanced back to nod, locking my gaze with Illyria's as I simultaneously un-clipped my sabers and took them in my hands.

'One...breathe.....two.....breathe.....three,  I switched on my sabers feeling heat pulsate out from green blades..... Four! Breathing deep I pressed down with my left foot  and leaned forward, launching myself into a somersault, down through the air towards a Stormtrooper.

Extending my arms outwards, elbows bent backwards; rotating clockwise across my shoulders I brought the  sabers helms in line with my chest  feeling the momentary jolt of pressure as they connected against the troopers armored shoulder guards before coming together in a hiss that cut  across the back of his neck.
Landing upon my bent right knee, I swiftly thrust my arms outwards extending my sabers either side of my body and  brought my right knee in towards my left foot; before extending my foot backwards; propelling my body to twist, rotating clockwise and loosened my grip upon my sabers helms.
It allowed my fingers to maneuver my sabers helms. Navigate the blades in circular spins, back and forth around my body, deflecting any shots fired my way as I rose, fluently turning clockwise upon my feet and stepped forward with my right foot.

I could hear Illyria land. The sounds of her light-saber cutting through the air. I knew she was fighting somewhere to my left, but time was against us and rapidly dwindling.

Bringing my left foot in line with my right, I brought my right knee up towards my chest. Extending it outwards as I pressed down upon the ball of my left foot, launching myself up into the air as my right foot connected with the chest or another Stormtrooper, changing the direction of my flight and propelling him backwards to the ground.
My grasp upon my sabers tightened and I twisted my left shoulder backwards, ensuring my sabers were held horizontally inline with my body before extending my arms out before me.
My green blades hissed and crackled as they cut outwards across the chests of the two approaching Stormtroopers, forcing their bodies to crumble to the ground either side of me as I landed skidding across the dirt upon my right knee and turned to look for Illyria.
