Rules/Do's & Don'ts

Hello, I figured I would add in just a few rules or things I do and do not like in a story. I am not an ass by any means, and usually have a very open mind with roleplay.
Disclaimer: I am not nor claim to be Ian Somerhalder or Damon Salvatore. I am simply someone who enjoys writing. You think I am either? You have issues lol.
1. Length- No one liners. The smallest response I will accept is two full paragraphs. Anything less, and I will not respond to you unless told prior to writing you tell me you are mobile. Want para? Fine, only on AIM which is listed down below.
2. Literacy-. I am not a grammar Nazi, I won't correct your every mistake. But, given that I require people to be 18+ before adding me, you should be able to make sentences that make sense where I don't have to re-read it over and over again trying to understand. If I can't understand what's going on, I'll probably just ignore it.
3. Shipping- My account is a 'multi-storyline' account. I don't do the whole thing where my character has only 1 love interest. My Damon doesn't 'belong' to anyone. However!!!!!! I will have a MAIN LI, the person who I deam 'favorite' above all potentials and will 'exlusively' date meaning putting you on my profile in the relationship section and such. People who do multi-storyline's/lovers are NOT whores, cheaters, players, disloyal, ect. Especially given the fact there is LESS drama on this end by far. I mean, to each their own.. but I like what I like. I still have friends who roleplay both ways, so it doesn't matter to me what you do just respect what I do, as I respect what you do. Though drama posting on status streams gets you deleted. No time for it here. **And no, I DO NOT only do this because I am Damon. I have roleplayed many many years and have roleplayed this way 90% of that time. Thanks.**
4. Style- I write in third person past tense novel style. "Quotes" for speaking and Italics for thoughts. I prefer this in return. No first person, please.
5. Real Life/Drama-. I have a real life for one. If you rush me, you will be put LAST on my list of replies. No exceptions. Patience is required. Drama? In a story, yes. NOT in real life. Take your petty bullsh*t elsewhere.
6. Romance Role-Play- Sex. Yes, I do it. I can be detailed or die it down. I'll test the waters and feel out what you are comfortable with and write accordingly. Sex is NOT required in a story-line with me. And while I do it, I do not want it to be all the time.
7. The obvious- Don't kill my character, don't play my character EVER. Play any other character within the story you wish.
8. Main's/Connections- Firstly, don't ask if we don't role-play or at least chit chat. Secondly, mains are my favorites and I will have more than one of one character if it so happens. Mains for me are favorites and their replies ALWAYS come first.
9. Numbers- I am here to write, not add 500+ people I never talk to. Either chat with me in some way or write with me. Otherwise, 2 weeks is the limit you will make it on my friends list. I have no problem having only 10 friends if they are active versus 50 friends and only 10 are active. Just delete me.*I also usually go by if you ask, you start. Though we will discuss what will be going on together. Please and thank you.**
10. Originality- Don't ask me what season I roleplay Damon from, you will look stupid. The answer? None. I not only am AU but I don't follow the show really at all other than his past in bits and pieces unless discussed.
11. Story-Line Discussion- A discussion/conversation takes two people. So let's both participate in the conversation not just "Oh yeah, sounds good." Or anything to that effect. Be part of the idea. No one likes a mooch. Don't like the idea? Say something. Help fix it.
12. Respect- I give it, and expect to get it in return. No need to curse me out or be rude for no reason. Have a problem? Let's talk like adults or delete me. Either one is fine.
13. Sexual Orientation- Being a real life lesbian, I have no problem with lesbian/homosexual mentions or themes. I prefer to role-play romantically/sexually with females but am not opposed to a good gay/bi male writer. Just let me know ahead of time.
I am not an Elena only type of Damon.
If you don't like this, I am NOT the Damon for you.
