Vacation here we come!

[OOC: This blog is for Destiny, Karen, Pym Jr, and Janet. Please don't post in the blog if you aren't them. Feel free to enjoy reading it though.]

I'm leavin' on a jet plane...Don't know when I'll be back again.

The sound of young girl's voice filled the air as her mother walked into the room. A warm smile crept its way onto Karen Starr's lips as she continued to listen to her daughter's voice for a moment. It was hard not to smile when her daughter was around. Destiny was always full of life and excitement it seemed, something she admired about her daughter. Karen looked around the large spacious room that was actually Destiny's work lab. She could see the stacks of luggage and it caused her to chuckle softly. She then turned her sapphire gaze toward her daughter, grinning. "I think you meant to sing you're leaving through a dimensional doorway, pumpkin," she teased her daughter.

The chuckle alerted Destiny of her mother's presences, causing her to turn away from her work desk for a moment. "Haha! Very funny Mom...and I hope no matter how we travel you are ready to go! I was just finishing the calculations that would insure we end up on the right planet! All we need now is for Aunt Janet and my brother to arrive! Then we can begin the vacation of a lifetime. I'm so excited to finally be able to get to go on this trip... all four of us! And I packed every possible thing I would need," she informed her mother as she pointed to the mountain of luggage nearby.

Karen looked at the mountain of luggage and then back at her daughter, smirking in amusement. "I think you packed everything but our kitchen sink. A-nd I would ask how you plan to bring all that but I already know the answer. Just be glad you can shrink all that luggage in your pockets or else we would never get out here," Karen teased her daughter. "As for your Aunt Janet and you brother, they should be arriving at any moment. Then we should be able to be on our way," she informed her daughter as she moved closer to her daughter to give her a playful hug. "But until they do how about you give your mother a hug and let her double check those coordinates just to be on the safe side," she teased her daughter. Karen knew that Destiny was a genius in her own right. In fact she was sure that Destiny was smarter than her and her father at times but that fact never stopped Karen from being motherly or worrisome.

Destiny found her mother's statement about all her luggage amusing, causing the young girl to smirk for a moment. "It never hurts to be prepared or to have what you might need! In fact maybe I should think about packing a few of these microscopes and oh! I almost forgot...." Destiny stopped in mid-sentence as she opened a drawer to take out a huge bag of sugar cubes. "We can't forget these or Daisy and Jack would be highly grumpy!" As soon as she said the names of their pet ants those very same ants came buzzing up in excitement. "I think we should test that those sugar cubes are fresh! I mean one could never be careful," Jack quipped in. Daisy shook her head before going to land on her owners shoulder. "The last thing we need is to give Jack any sugar before we go...though I wouldn't mind having one, Destiny!" Daisy nuzzled her owner neck then turned to flick one of her antennas playfully at Jack.

Destiny's soft laughter filled the lab as she listened to both ants try to get a sugar cube. "I will give you both a sugar cube but let's wait till Henry gets here because I told him to bring his pet ant too!" Both ants nodded in understanding at her words, knowing they would just have to wait for their treat. But it didn't' matter to them...they were just excited as was Destiny and Karen to begin this vacation together.

Henry had just arrived riding his pet ant. Destiny�s cornflower eyes lit up with excitement. �Brother!� Destiny shouted as she as she waved at him. Though Henry was small in size she had microscopic vision so she saw him clearly. �Look Mom! Henry has arrived.� As soon as Daisy and Jake heard that Henry arrived they began to buzz around in excitement. �Finally! I want my sugar cube!� Jack said as Daisy nodded in agreement.

Karen was standing nearby when she heard Destiny shout out that Henry had arrived. �I see him too! Now we just need your Aunt Janet to arrive and we will be ready to go,� she mused. Karen continued to look at Henry for a moment. When she and Hank divorced she had hoped her relationship with his and Janet�s son wouldn�t be severed. She had been pleasantly surprised that it hadn�t. Even though he wasn�t related to her by marriage now she considered him family just like she did his mother. In fact it was Henry who finally got her to allow Destiny to attend college. Karen had been worried that she might not be able to fit in there. She and Hank had always kept Destiny from most of the world since there had been so many kidnapping attempts on her life. But Henry had promised her that since he was attending college there too he would keep an eye out on Destiny.

As soon as Destiny laid eyes on her Aunt Janet she began to grow excited. She had been anxiously waiting for months for this vacation. There honestly wasn�t at time in her life that she could ever recall not having Aunt Janet in her life. Her brother Henry on the other hand had entered her life when she was just five years old. At first she was not happy about the news of having a brother. She feared that her Dad would not love her as much now that he knew he had a son. Of course her fears were invalid because their dad had enough love in his heart for both of his children. She also came to discover how great it was to have a bigger brother.

Aunt Janet!� Destiny shouted as she ran toward her Aunt in excitement. She would engulf Janet in a warm but gentle hug. She was taught at an early age that she had to be careful when hugging other people because of her strength. �I am so happy you are here! And Pymmy is here too! We can finally go on vacation together!� She released her Aunt from her hug and would move to hug brother once he had grown to regular size. �I can�t wait for us to leave! I shrunk all the luggage so we can be prepared for anything,� Destiny laughed.

Karen saw that Janet had arrived too, moving over to hug her dear friend. Janet was like the sister she never had. �Hello, Miss Janet. I guess you can tell our children are very excited,� she chuckled. Once all the greetings have been done she would move over to the door that would open up and transport them to their destination. Once they all stepped in they would arrive at a planet called Organa 7498. It was known for its for its beauty and Karen had thought it would allow them to relax there but also the children could go exploring.

After working her but off running the Coffee Corner as well as continuing with her carreer in fashion, Janet was most definitely in need of a break, and what better way to take one with her family. Going away with Henry, Karen and Destiny was just was the doctor ordered and Janet couldn�t wait to get going.

The past few days Janet had been making sure everything was in order and her employees knew all they needed to know to keep things running smoothly in her absence. With her best people on the job, she would be able to enjoy her time away without having to worry how things were going back home.

All that was left to do for Janet was to pack up her suitcase with all the necessary things and head over to Karen and Destiny�s place, from where they were going to travel by dimensional doorway to their holiday destination. It was going to be interesting to spend some time with Karen, Destiny and Henry since this was the first time the four of them were going away together. None the less Janet couldn�t wait to get going.

Grabbing her things Janet took a cab and made her way over to Karen and Destiny�s place, arriving just after Henry apparently. �Who�s ready to go on a fun trip?!� She asked as she gave her son a soft hug and a kiss on the top of his head. �All packed and ready to go?� She asked him before giving Destiny and Karen a hug as well.
