Clawdeen Wolf, the half-human and half-werewolf who is thrilled to join Monster High despite the challenge of being a half-monster in a school of full-monster students.
Clawdeen is very compassive and kind. Although living in hiding and lonely her whole life, she shows a desire to make real friends and is sad to see humans and monsters treating each other with hatred and fear. Clawdeen also had shown to not hold a grudge on anyone, as when she saved Cleo from getting crushed by a falling gargoyle even though she had treated her and her friends bad. She isn't afraid to tell others what she thinks or believes, but has a hard time with her emotions, especially around Deuce. Another trait of Clawdeen's personality is that she encourages others to be themselves, as she did with Draculaura and her witchcraft abilities.
Even before discovering she was half-werewolf, Clawdeen had been a monster fangirl since childhood. Clawdeen is enthusiastic and friendly, upon discovering Monster High, she was thrilled into joining it, she also has a vast knowledge about monsters. Clawdeen has shown to be very persistent, after Bloodgood didn't allow Clawdeen in the school because she was human, the girl tried many ways to get enrolled (mostly by disguising herself as a monster). Unfortunately, Clawdeen's interest in monsters had made an outcast in the human world her whole life, the other humans, mostly humans her age, make fun of her and call her "creep", "weird" and mostly "monster girl". However, Clawdeen was able to make friends with the monsters, she's BFFs with Frankie and Draculaura and is close friends with Deuce, she always helps and supports her friends in whoever or whatever they want to be. Clawdeen has also shown to be very clumsy, accidentally knocking down some things and falling.
She is a dark skinned girl and has a medium build. She possesses yellow eyes, freckles on her face, red lips and purple curly hair that has multiple shades of purple and pink. As her werewolf heritage, she has white fangs, sharp claws, a wolf snout, extra fur on her body and wolf ears, her wolf claws are colored a light lilac. She wears her hair loose with one bun on the top.
As a human, Clawdeen's appearance is nearly exactly the same, except that she shows no werewolf traits (wolf ears, wolf snout, extra fur, sharp claws) having human traits instead. In addition, her hair is less voluminous and messy as it is in her werewolf form.
Her outfit consists of a short purple overalls with indigo jaguar spots printed on it, her overalls also have a howling wolf surrounded by all the states of the moon printed on the chest. She also wears a long-sleeved black shirt with hot pink zebra stripes and moons, purple and lilac shoes with yellow claws on bottom and yellow shoelaces. Having a bad eyesight, she wears golden framed glasses. Her accessories are consisted of golden crescent moon-shaped earrings and piercings, a golden moon-decorated belt and a golden moon claw necklace with a lilac gem around her neck, the necklace has crescent-moon and star-shaped pendants on its chain.
The Fashionista: Notable in that she views fashion both as an art and in a business sense; she hopes to one day own her own fashion line, and plans her classes accordingly. She aspires to become a Fashion Designer.
My Instincts Are Showing: Clawdeen can sometimes react like a typical wolf, e.g. howling when excited or growling when angry. It's more apparent in the second generation.
Our Werewolves Are Different:
While Clawdeen's features are consistently wolflike, she usually keeps her animalistic side under control... except during the full moon (when she becomes more daring and energetic than usual). "Fur Will Fly" showed her using this transformation to beat Heath Burns (he didn't know that day was a full moon, and it gave her super-speed, beating him even with his head start).
Welcome To Monster High gives her a real wolf form, and shows she can switch between wolflike girl and actual wolf.
Gen 3 seems to have made her half-human/half-werewolf allowing her to shift to a fully human appearance (mostly turning out of anxiety). Ironically this makes her more like traditional werewolves who are able to do so in most myths.
