Melinda Halliwell/Melinda Bing. Currently four. Listed as a missing child. Adopted as a newborn. Living in westchester. Melinda Halliwell is the biological daughter of Piper Halliwell and Leo Wyatt. Shortly after Melinda's birth she came into her powers, one of which was combustive orbing, something that caused the newborn to repeatedly blow things up in explosive orbs. It became enough of a danger that Piper and Leo decided that it was necessary to bind Melinda's powers until she was old enough to be able to control them. However, a month after Melinda's birth, Piper and Leo were taking Melinda to her first check-up since she was born where they mysteriously all vanished without explanation. Left with no other choice, the Elders revived Grams and Patty to take care of Piper's sons while they helped gather information for the remaining Charmed Ones to help locate their missing family members, but it was as if they disappeared without a trace.
It wasn't until a month later that Melinda had resurfaced, unbeknownst to her biological family members. The infant, having escaped her confinement, managed to be found in New York, where she was found by a woman who heard her crying outside of the restaurant she worked at. After speaking with her husband, the two of them eventually decided to adopt Melinda into their own family. They only knew her first name as she was wrapped in a blanket with her named embroidered on it.
When Melinda was three years old, someone appeared in her bedroom at night, causing her to scream. Her adoptive parents came bursting into the room, only to find a strange looking creature wielding a ball of fire in it's hand. The creature turned towards them and tried to attack her adoptive parents, but Melinda panicked, accidentally flicking her hands and causing the creature to explode in the same orbs she did as a baby, unlocking her powers when she needed them most. This completely freaked her parents out, especially Chandler, but Melinda ran towards him and cried, making him seem to calm down in an instant. Melinda's powers only seemed to grow from there, causing both Monica and Chandler to tell Melinda not to use her powers in public because they feared her being taken away from them.
Six months later, Melinda was taken by another creature while the family slept. She was trapped for weeks in the underworld until an elderly woman managed to save her from her capture. She brought the young girl back to the manor. Upon hearing the child's name and that her birthday was the following day on Halloween, the elderly woman asked the girl if she had any powers. Melinda nodded, but told her that her mommy and daddy said she's not supposed to use them in front of strangers. When the woman brought over a photo of her missing granddaughter and her husband and asked the Melinda if they were her parents, Melinda said no. Showing Melinda that she too had powers, Melinda showed the woman her own, and the woman confirmed that Melinda was her missing great-granddaughter. The woman told Melinda to call her Grams. Melinda thanked Grams for saving her before orbing home. Grams then went up to scry for Melinda, only to discover that she lived in Westchester, New York and had been adopted by another family.
