Hey all!
So, I've made this universe called Prismasis Pausalis, and a whole roleplay discord server called Before the Fall that takes place in it. It's indigenous-based elemental magic set in a high fantasy era, and i've put all the how-tos and whatnot into a very easy-to-read booklet that's mostly pics available on request. Still, though, here's a quick rundown for this post:
- Life Path: When characters hit 18, there's this event called the Invoque that determines their role
in the world. Some become elemental users called Runi, others might end up as Equaeth who, while not inherently magical, kinda the equivalent of a mundane, have their own unique place in the world. And then there are the Kutari, whose purpose and connection to the Runi adds layers of complexity to character relationships. They're like familiars, but deeper.
- The World's Dynamics: Prism isn't all sunshine and rainbows. There's tension between regions, mainly centered around the treatment of the Kutari. It's a classic case of differing ideals clashing, and it offers a lot of narrative potential.
- Species: We have 7 playable species, human or human-hybrids with their own progenitors, who have long since left the world. Each species has a big pro and a big con that makes them super interesting to play.
Who I'd like to meet:
I genuinely think if you're big on lore and love sinking your teeth into an established universe, you'd have a blast here. We're always open to writers who are eager to immerse themselves, bring fresh perspectives, and help the world of Prism grow. If you're curious, there's a two-week trial in our server where you can get a feel for everything and see if it resonates with you. It's a trial just so we don't have mostly inactives in the server.
