Benedict VI (Benedict Cyril Raymond Rutledge; born December 12, 1960) is King of the Olympic Empire and 11 other realms. He acceded to the throne on July 13, 1989 upon the death of his father, Benedict V. Benedict was born in Rutledge Palace during the reign of his father, King Benedict V, making him the heir apparent. He was made Prince of Ettington in 1963 and his investiture was held in 1970. He was educated at Monroe College in Dashwood, Olympic, as was his father, King Benedict V, as well as his Grandfather King Cyril V and his Great Grandmother, Queen Cheree VI. Benedict served in the King’s Navy from 1983 to 1986. On July 13, 1989, King Benedict V was found dead in bed at Asbury Castle. He had died in the night from a myocardial infarction at the age of 52. When word arrived of the death of King Benedict V, Benedict VI consequent accession to the throne with immediate effect. Queen Eliza broke the news to the new King. He chose to retain Benedict as his regnal name; thus he was called Benedict VI. He was proclaimed King throughout his Empire and realms. The coronation of Benedict VI took place on January 20, 1990 at Chapel Hill Cathedral in Ridgemont, Olympic. In 1996, he married Lady Tenille Crowley, with whom he had three daughters, Elizabeth, Camilla and Kristanya. On October 18, 2022, Queen Elza, The Queen Mother, would pass away at the age of 82. November 12, 2022, Princess Elizabeth gave birth Tenille Alexandra Mary Olivia Rutlegde, the King's first grandchild.
