Dar The Beastmaster's Blurbs

About me: Dar (Daniel Goddard) is the last survivor of his tribe. He wanders the lands seeking his lost loved one, Kyra (Natalie Jackson Mendoza), protecting the oppressed and the animals. His friend Tao (Jackson Raine) � a fearful, psychology-attracted young man � helps him in his quest; Tao is a scholar and a medicine man. Dar meets another orphaned warrior named Arina (Marjean Holden) who joins his quest for her own reasons, but eventually becomes a faithful companion. The world of the Beastmaster is full of lost tribes, genocide appears to be common, and all three of these characters are the survivors or last survivors of lost tribes. The series also featured Monika Schnarre as the Sorceress, apprentice to the Ancient One, played by Grahame Bond, Emilie de Ravin as the Forest Demon named Curupira, and Sam Healy as Iara, the Demon of Water and Serpent. The regular human enemy of Dar, King Zad, was played by Steven Grives. Marc Singer, the Beastmaster from the original film, appears in the third season as Dartanus, the Spirit Warrior who helps Dar on his quest. The general story arc of the series is that the world is changing, civilization is advancing, technology is gaining ground slowly, the old orders of magic and sorcery are fading, and the world is threatened by the supernatural being Balcifer, the Dark One, played by Jeremy Callaghan. Dar is the son of King Eldar, who was destroyed by Balcifer. To defeat Balcifer Dar must locate and reunite his family, who have been turned into animals to hide them from Balcifer, in the Crystal Arc. Balcifer's agent on Earth is King Zad, who is first King of the Terrons, a savage tribe that enslaves and pillages at will. Later, when the tribe is destroyed by King Voden leading a group of Viking-like northerners, Zad re-emerges as the King of Xincha, the city at the center of the world (and Tao's former home). He has deposed Voden, who fled into the wilderness at the end of the second season. There is a contrast there between the crude savage badness of King Zad and the refined, insane evil genius of King Voden. Zad emerges from the contest a more civilized but still savage character. The series was very action-oriented at the beginning, but as the first season wore on, it began to take on a pacifistic and naturalist tone. The opening/ending music and soundtrack of the series was composed by Graeme Coleman. Who I'd like to meet: Dar is the last surviving member of the Sula tribe. The Sula were all killed by merciless Terrons when Dar was around 10 to 12 years of age. Dar saw his own mother�s death. He helped his father complete the mission to get the special Sula tigers to safety as was bid by Curupira. During all this, Dar�s father, also a beastmaster, was killed, and his betrothed Kyra was captured by the Terrons. From then on, he was alone. Dar from 'Circle of Life' When Dar was about 15 years old he underwent Curupira�s test to become a beastmaster. As he grew, Dar learned his fighting skills from watching the animals around him. He learned fast attack from the snake, cooperation from the ants, and defense from the wolves. Dar has been on his life quest to protect Curupira�s animals and to find Kyra and free her from the Terrons. During one attempt to liberate Kyra, Dar met a traveling scholar, and Eiron named Tao. Tao has been his friend ever since and has helped Dar in his search. As an adult, Dar has personal characteristics that are quite unusual in the world of the Terrons. Dar respects life and has empathy and compassion for others. He tries to protect the innocent from anyone who would do harm. He will readily offer help without being asked and without consideration to personal safety. He is also a man of honor not to be corrupted by flesh or power. That meant she remembered everything and still she decided to make a new life for herself as a painter. She had her own gallery where she put her own stuff and others as well for sale. She had seen much in her time here and she liked having no magic since she had no temptations to use the dark powers Cora had cursed her with she did wonder about her half sister Regina though and how she was doing in the new reality she had created for herself. One day Venessa was hunting in the woods and she came across the town as she hid from everyone not wanting to be found out by Regina or anyone else just yet. When the curse was fixed she still didn't show herself at least for now since she wanted to figure things out first. Now that everyone knew who they were she knew it was just a matter of time before one of them finds her. She sighed to this and shook her head as she walked in the shadows for now trying not to be found out. she still wasn't sure that Regina didn't want her dead because of the lies Cora fed her most of her life. Venessa was about to walk to the border to leave back to New York for now when she heard foot steps coming her way and she got ready for anything. Firefighter’s Hero™ 🚒 Apr 26th 2019 - 10:22 PM Send Comment - Send Message - Block User Regina was getting a bit more annoyed with the beast, sure she understood he was not from their realm, but surely he knew what a horse was because he had said so himself, so he would at least comprehend what a car had been by her explanation, and how could one not know what a book was because no matter where you were one had books even way back in her realm , Still she was nice so she shook her head kindly "a cell phone, it is a bit harder to explain if you've never seen one, but is this worlds way of speaking to one another when you are in separate locations, you see Her husband is at work and she is here." She said as she pointed to Abby, She then shook her head as she picked up the book again "I will read it it to you some time, It will help you more I guaranty" She said kindly She shook her head as she looked at him "It's a bit hard to explain, no people don't live in the movies, there are people called actors who portray certain people in these movies, I will try to show you one and explain it to you so you can understand a bit more" She offered again, though she doubted he would ever understand anything she told him because as far as she could tell he didn't even try to. Regina nodded as she looked at him , at least he understood what ice , water and the like was "Yes, just take a sip from the glass, just like I did, It's safe, No poisons or any way of you being hurt, I Promise" Sure she knew people chocked while eating food, and people like herself and Zelena had put poisons in people's drinks before but she wasn't going to tell him any of that because she didn't want to frighten him at all. She nodded as she spoke again "I was evil and jealous so I created a curse to take away happiness from others, Now I realize that was wrong so I did not create this newest curse, nor did my sister, we are trying to break it" She said and then added "Yes ,Zelena and I are the only ones who know who we really are, no one else does." "Storybrooke is magical, but unlike this place others without magic can't go there, for instance, Abby wouldn't be able to see it because she has no magic, This place was created so that everyone can come and go , magic or not." Regina replied. Firefighter’s Hero™ 🚒 Sep 6th 2018 - 9:11 PM Send Comment - Send Message - Block User Abby had been blissfully unaware of the poor man's confusion at this precise moment in time because she had been speaking to Buck, Sure the call had started off as her asking him to check in on any missing person's, She truly had been worried about the man who had just entered Roni's , but Now the call had turned a bit more personal and She as well as her unborn child had missed her baby daddy. Zelena had rolled her eyes at Dar, There was still a bit of the Wicked Witch in there, She was not as well Wicked but there were moments, such as this she wished she could just use the magic she knew she had "Once again I say they are not monsters, they might be to you because you don't know what they are but they aren't!! They are just things people get around, the people in them are not hostages or being taken by some evil being!!" She all but practically yelled. Regina was trying to control her sister's anger with a look, sure she was annoyed but She was far from being the evil queen she used to be and unlike her sister she truly felt sorry for this man, it wasn't his fault He ended up there, not knowing who or what any of them were "She's talking on what is called a Cell Phone, I'm sure it's harmless, She's talking to her husband, and Yes I'm sure She doesn't know what a Beastmaster is, Hell she doesn't even know that i'm really the Evil Queen, or at least I Used to be" She offered with a shrug. She then spoke as she nodded her head "a book, I'm sure you know what that is because books were around in many realms, it's what people read, see like this.." She stated as she pulled out a book she had nearby. She then added "but a Movie, that is a little more complicated, that is what People here in this land do, It's like a box with moving  pictures and words, I can show you some other time" She stated. Regina had tried her best to help him, It was a far cry from who she had been in the past, Hell in the past she probably would have taken his heart out and crushed it just because of the mere fact that he was annoying her, but well she had changed quite a bit since then, She owed it all to Emma and her parents, but she also knew a lot of it had to do with her Son and well Robin Hood ( a small smile appearing on her face at the thought of him) "This is how water is drank  here, this .. this is called a glass.." She said tapping it with her finger "This .. this is what is called Ice but essentially it's just frozen water, it keeps your drink cooler for longer" She offered as she pointed to the ice "it makes things quite a bit more easier, We don't need to look for a stream or a lake to drink from" She offered as she made herself a glass and drank from it to show him it was safe. Regina sighed a bit as she tried to explain things to him further "I was evil when I created the curse a great many years ago, I had cursed everyone to a town called Storybrooke, What I Meant by "asleep" Is that they don't know who they all are, They think they are citizens of this realm, take me for example, Here i'm known as Roni, so that is what everyone calls me, I now know I'm Regina Mill's or the Evil Queen if you will, but that is because My curse has been broken, the other's here have not, and Abby moved here from Los Angeles, another town within this realm, So she is not cursed at all" She stated hoping he had understood her now. She nodded as she noticed he was starting to understand things a bit more "Yes, you see this whole land is called earth, our portion of earth is called the United States, Most every other place on it has no magic and believes that Magic is a work of what is called Fiction, like in this Book" She said tapping the Book once more "The only other Magical town is called Storybrooke It's in a town Called Maine, I Know this because I created it, We can go there and  yes we can use all the help we can get in breaking this curse" She said matter of factly. Firefighter’s Hero™ 🚒 Jul 12th 2018 - 9:35 PM Send Comment - Send Message - Block User As Abby Had walked away and went to call her "Family" all who had been first responders, right down to her surrogate sister in law Athena Grant who had been a police Sergeant, It wasn't so much that she had feared for her own life but for this man's She worried he had been ill and in some sort of state where he could visibly move about but could not remember a thing of who he had been or where he had been, She was used to that sort of behavior so she had dragged in reinforcements, wondering if there had been a hospital with a missing patient, one with a brain disease of the like. Regina and Zelena smiled as they spoke to him "No, The Car's are not Alive, Not like  Horses" Zelena  said as she shook her head at him "I suppose the cars are more like buggies, You have buggies where you're from right? It's a simple way for people to get from one place to another, I assure you those things are not monsters and they are not dangerous" Regina had nodded her head at his other inquiry as she spoke "I promise we aren't evil, No one here is and most especially not her" She said as she pointed to Abby who had still been out of ear shot of their words. Zelena chuckled as she turned to her sister "Well I mean we used to be" She said chuckling, Regina shook her head "Not helping Zel!!" She then turned to the man again as she spoke "Abby just doesn't know we are cursed, She just thinks we're all from books or movies, She doesn't know the Beastmaster or anyone from it exists" She spoke with kindly hoping he'd understand what she meant. Regina smiled at him as she noticed he had understood what She had meant, of course she had assumed that he'd know what Coffee had been after all they had that in the Enchanted forest, She had simply assumed he'd have it in his realm as well, though due to the look on his face She had figured out that He did not know what it was. still with Water he had finally looked relieved and seemed as though it was something he wanted. She gave him a kind smile, Not one that would offer him fear but one that show him She could be trusted (which was odd to her since well she had been the Evil Queen before and She didn't use to be trusted by people ) "How about I get you some Water, it will help you at least quench your thirst" She stated as she got a glass, put some ice in it and had poured it, then had handed it to him "Here… No trickery I promise" She said as if reading his mind. Regina had took a seat next to him and had tried to answer his questions as best as she could "it's a long story but I created the curse but Drizella had cast it, I'm guessing she did it for the same reason I Had so long ago, to take away everyone's happy endings, though I can not be sure, Yes you are awake but not many other's are, I am unaware how to break this curse so I'm afraid we are all stuck here for awhile" She shook her  head and looked towards Abby once again, then back to the man "As for Abby, well She's from the land without magic, this place here  is the only part that has magic, people who are from fairy tales ,books and  movies,, well this place and a town called Storybrooke, She has never seen anything crazy or anything like that because to her it only exists in books,  movies and fairy tales, as I just stated, and No one here is awake except for us and we can't use our magic, or speak in the manner you have because of it" She had said cautiously. Firefighter’s Hero™ 🚒 Jul 5th 2018 - 9:58 PM Send Comment - Send Message - Block User Abby looked at him her own eyes filled with confusion,  He was speaking nonsense and by the looks on Roni and Kelly's faces They weren't going to help, Of course she had no way of knowing that they knew why he was behaving in such a manner but She would at a much later date of time. She shook her head as she spoke to him kindly "We aren't here to hurt you, I Promise" She stated , speaking in the same tone she often had with her mother when she had an episode. She tried to answer his question as best as she could "This is Hyperion Heights a small town in the state of Washington outside of the city of  Seattle" She said, as if he somehow understood what She had meant "Do you remember where you're from?" She asked, She had assumed that perhaps he had some sort of disease that made him forget things, not unlike the one her mother had suffered from at the time of her death. She shook her head and continued as she spoke "If You remember where you're from I can help you get back there" Roni sighed to these words as she looked at Kelly, If only Abby knew that it was easier said then done. Abby shook her head as she spoke to him about the Monsters "those aren't monsters , they are cars, it's how we get around from here to there" So that the man would understand more and be a little less frightened Kelly looked at him and spoke "They are like Horses" She said, knowing full well this man would know what a Horse was. Sure both Roni AKA Regina and Kelly AKA Zelena had been evil at one point long ago, but Now , they were kind people who really did just want to help. Regina had looked at her sister, noticing the scared look on the man's face, She knew He had no idea of what she was saying, wherever he was from they had no such thing as Coffee (Which amused her a bit because even where she was from and had come from long long ago, they had coffee) She bit her lip as she looked at Kelly, She then spoke , Surely he would know what Water had been "How about some Water, You certainly must be thirsty and water most help that" She stated, The three women had noticed the scared look on Dar's face but only two of them understood what he was going through. These two would be the ones to  help him, Then he would understand more of where he had been at the time and that Yes there was a way to get him back home, After of course they had broken the curse. Once Abby had walked away, presumedly to call her husband and his friends, Zelena and Regina took the opportunity to speak to him "We can Help you, She can not" Regina said as she stared at Abby who had been out of ear shot now. "She doesn't know who we are, why we're here" Zelena nodded as she took over the speech from her sister, it was one they both knew well "The truth is the reason why you are confused is because of a Curse, we are all Fairy tale Characters from another time, I'm assuming you are too, You are in a modern day town in a modern day realm, We will explain everything later but for now You should know, Regina (or as you may know her the Evil Queen. and I or as You may know me the Wicked Witch… are the only ones "awake" and there are some that don't even believe in the magic and fairy tales being real, That is why Abby is so confused of your words" She said, her and Regina had truly believed this man would understand them now. Firefighter’s Hero™ 🚒 Jun 22nd 2018 - 3:59 AM Send Comment - Send Message - Block User Roni looked at the man with an eyebrow raise, once she was off her shift and could get the man alone she'd inform him about the truth about the town, question him of how he got there and who had sent him, but for now she kept her mouth shut, after all Abby had no clue who these people were and Regina had known she needed to keep it that way. Abby looked at him, She could see the confused look in his eyes, She assumed he had either been drugged or suffered from some disease not unlike the one her mother had prior to her death, something that had caused debilitation as well as confusion, She  knew she would need to question him further to get to the bottom of things. As Abby had gone off to speak to the man Zelena or rather Kelly as she was known  here, had whispered to her sister Regina or rather known as Roni here, She too had wanted to get to the bottom of things "who do you think he is? Do you think he knows? do you think he's awake? Do you think he's…. well you know Dangerous?" She asked her thick accent shining through as she spoke. Regina shook her head as she whispered back "I don't think he's awake or knows who he is and I don't think he's dangerous but we can't be too careful, we just need to keep an eye on him, for now shut up before both he and Abby hear you" She stated as she put on a fake smile, then focusing on the man, unaware of the fact that He didn't know what she was about to say "Can I get you a drink, Maybe a coffee?" She asked him. Abby shook her head as she spoke, He was quite confused and prior to her death, Her mother's Dementia and Alzhiemer's had caused the same type of confusion, therefore Abby had been used to  the behavior "I'm Abby Buckley" She said as she smiled politely at him "I have no idea what you mean, I didn't bring you here, you walked in here by yourself" She stated. Regina could see the confusion in Abby's eyes and if the line of questioning had continued things would not end well for either of them, It was for this reason she put her hand gently on his shoulder "Don't be afraid of her, of us.. She's here to help, none of us want to hurt you" Taking her lead Zelena had walked to him as well "Yeah, maybe if you come by later we can get to the bottom of things" Abby looked at them in confusion but she had assumed they'd question him further and send him right back to the mental institution she had assumed he had ran away from. The Two had done their jobs just as they always had, and were heading home in rush hour traffic, Okay so H town's rush hour traffic wasn't as bad as Los Angeles was but It still took quite a bit of time to get home. She was focusing on her driving, on the other cars, Not really on anything other then that, So she had been quite oblivious to the scene that would unfold. She sighed a bit when she noticed traffic wasn't moving, she assumed there was some sort of accident, which meant that Buck would probably be late coming home,  He was after all the town's Firefighter/First Responder (or at the very least one of them, though in her mind the best of them) She had decided she'd hang a left and end up at The local bar, Not that she could drink any alcohol but she could use a snack and she knew the owners, they'd probably give her some sort of non alcoholic drink on the house. That had been why she ended up at Roni's Bar. Roni had been all set to go well "Magic" Evil Queen mode on the newcomer, thinking he was some sort of being from their time, someone who was out to get them, that however had been when Abby had walked in, Abby did not know magic existed so she held off a bit, She looked at her as she spoke "Can you help out? A strange man walked in, Maybe you can find out what's wrong with him" Abby nodded as she walked towards the man and spoke "Hi, I'm Abby, are you okay? Are you lost?" She asked him. Add Comment
