Comments: Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth. Even the all-powerful Pointing has no control about the blind texts it is an almost unorthographic life One day however a small line of blind text by the name of Lorem Ipsum decided to leave for the far World of Grammar.

ISADORA SNAPE

First Wizarding War

The Scar

Isadora Lily Snape is the daughter of Lily Evans and Severus Snape. Severus had admitted his love of Lily to her after she defended him (he never called her a mudblood in this universe), from the Marauders' bullying of Severus. Lily had known for a long time, and had been waiting for him to make the first move, reciprocating his feelings. After they graduated, the two of them joined the Order of the Phoenix, with Severus posing as a double agent, using his connections to his former classmates to join the ranks of the Death Eaters to spy on them for Dumbledore. When Lily became pregnant with their child, the two of them secretly wed in the view of other members of the order, though Lily kept her maiden name, swearing to change it once the war was over and Voldemort was no more as a way to keep their unborn child safe.

Severus soon learned of a prophecy regarding a child that would be destined to defeat Voldemort. Under Dumbledore's orders, he told half of the prophecy to the Dark Lord to further gain his trust, unaware that his unborn child had been the one the prophecy spoke of at the time. On July 31, 1980 Lily gave birth to a beautiful baby girl that Severus was able to be present for despite his long absences as a double agent. He took one look at the girl, who looked just like Lily before deciding on the name Isadora and the middle name of Lily after his wife and her mother. Severus affectionately called her Isa for short and simply adored their newborn daughter who had Lily's green eyes and red hair.

Lily often joked with her husband that their daughter only stopped crying when he held her, which seemed to be completely true. Isadora was his pride and joy and he loved that little girl more than anything else in the world along with his wife. However, Severus was gone often due to his role as a spy that he rarely was able to see her, and keeping his emotions as well as memories hidden so that the Death Eater's would not learn of Isadora's existence and harm her required a lot of him mentally. Yet, he was able to keep the child's existence hidden on his end.

Unfortunately Voldemort managed to learn of Isadora's existence through other means. While Lily did not return James' affections, she formed a friendship with the Marauders who had also joined the order, much to the displeasure of Severus. James had gifted Lily a Cloak of Invisibility to protect her and Isadora once the hit by Voldemort had been put out after someone betrayed their location as the Marauders had been assigned their secret keepers and James was there to protect them and pretend to be Isadora's father to protect Severus' identity.

None of them knew when the attack would come, so James had moved in, with Severus unaware of the entire thing due to him currently working for Voldemort at the time of the attack, though was unaware that Lily and Isadora had been targeted by Voldemort at the time. Voldemort killed James first, but Lily was unable to get to the Cloak of Invisibility in time. She begged him not to kill Isadora, and Voldemort gave her a chance to stand down, but she refused. As a result, she was killed protecting her daughter. Voldemort then attempted to use the same killing curse on Isadora, but something happened. The curse rebounded on Isadora and not only destroyed the Dark Lord, but also made the child disappear.

Once Severus learned of what Voldemort was about to do he left their headquarters in an attempt to stop him from murdering his wife and daughter, however he was far too late. Once he arrived, he spotted James dead on the floor, and his now deceased wife lying next to Isadora's crib. Severus held his wife and mourned her death before checking in the crib, but Isadora was nowhere to be found, only the destroyed bedding remained. Severus assumed that Isadora had been obliterated and there was simply no body left to bury. Devastated, he attempted to end his own life until he was stopped by Albus Dumbledore, who managed to convince him to return with him to Hogwarts and teach, knowing that Voldemort would return once more and to live because his wife and child wouldn't want him to end his own life. Eventually Severus agreed, gathering a few things from the house to remember his family by before leaving it completely.

Early Childhood

Magic Included

Fortunately, Isadora had not actually perished like what had been assumed by Snape and the rest of the wizarding world. In truth, Voldemort's attack had displaced her somewhere else in the world, in Boston, Massachusetts to be precise. Voldemort's attack also left behind one other thing, a lightning bolt shaped scar on Isadora's forehead. After being found seemingly abandoned, the girl was taken to the hospital where she was assessed and treated. Noting that she had been found swaddled in a pink blanket with the name Isadora embroidered on it, the hospital staff assumed that it was her name. No one claimed the child and she was eventually put up for adoption.

Meanwhile, a couple in Los Angeles, California had learned that they were unable to have children of their own due to the husband's almost non-existent sperm count. Desperate to be a father, Stuart Markowitz, a tax attorney that had been born into wealth had convinced his wife, a trial lawyer named Ann Kelsey to adopt a child. After two failed attempts, Ann was unwilling to try again. The first woman changed her mind before giving birth and the second wanted the child back a while later. Ann had been so devastated that she was unwilling to open her heart again to have it broken once more, but Stuart received a call that there was another child, a little over a year old that had been abandoned by her parents named Isadora. Stuart convinced his wife to at least meet with the baby, after all the baby had been abandoned and no one was going to claim her. A doctor had correctly estimated her date of birth. Stuart and Ann arrived at the airport, with Stuart being the one to board the plane to gather Isadora, bringing her to his wife.

The first time that Stuart held Isadora and learned her name, he instantly fell in love with the baby girl. He knew that they were going to bring her home and give her the love and care that she deserved, though noted the strange scar on her forehead. He was informed that they had no idea how she obtained it, but that the baby girl seemed to cry non-stop until he had held her, as if she was able to sense his kind and gentle soul. He agreed to take her and brought her to Ann, gently placing Isadora in her arms. From the moment Ann first held Isadora she felt an instant connection to the baby girl. She was smitten with her and instantly fell in love with her. When she asked her husband what they should name her, Stuart told Ann that she had been found wrapped in the same blanket that she was in now, the one with her name embroidered on it and that her name was Isadora. Ann thought that the name was beautiful, but also that she might be bullied for it, so they used nicknames such as Izzy and Dori instead.

Isadora grew up under the watchful and loving eyes of her beloved parents. She knew her parents were quite a bit older, but adored them anyway. When Izzy was old enough to start eating solid food, it was discovered that she had several life threatening allergies to all seafood, all tree nuts, and peanuts. This required Ann and Stuart to learn how to use EpiPen's and keep meticulous food journals about everything that Izzy consumed, though they soon learned that her allergic reactions also extended to even merely smelling them, even on someone's breath. As such, Ann and Stuart required that anyone that was to come into contact with Izzy was to not consume these items for twenty-four hours before coming into contact with her, nor consume them or even have them on their person when around her. This later extended to her classroom while at school. As a result, Izzy was unable to make friends with others and was frequently the target of bullying for her allergies and scar, but also for other things as well.

The baby had been adopted by her parents on Christmas Day, and it wasn't long until they discovered that Isadora wasn't exactly what some would call normal. Isadora had strange gifts that were very apparent very early on, such as when her hair and eye color would change right in front of her adoptive parents, shocking them into almost thinking they had hallucinated the entire thing. But this wasn't a figment of their imagination, Isadora seemed to have a gift for changing her appearance at will. As she grew, the small girl would often appear to read their thoughts, answering things that her parents were only thinking, which frightened her even more than the fact that she could change her appearance. This coupled with random acts of magic had the couple rather concerned as they tried to help their daughter conceal her abilities in front of others so she wouldn't be taken away from them and experimented on like her parents feared. These magical incidents that came accidentally were also a cause for Isadora frequently being bullied by her peers, and even Izzy's kindhearted and gentle personality could not win her any friends.

Invitation to Hogwarts

The Girl Who Lived

On Isadora's eleventh birthday while she was having breakfast with her parents, they received a knock at the door. Ann had gone to answer it, spotting an elderly woman dressed in strange green robes standing there. She introduced herself as Minerva McGonagall, the Deputy Headmistress at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Ann thought she was pulling a prank on her until the elderly witch used magic in front of her. Ann let her in and led her to the kitchen where they were eating breakfast. It was then that Professor McGonagall handed Isadora her letter, but Isadora was rather confused as the surname listed was that of another. While Isadora was an incredibly smart girl and knew that she looked nothing like her parents as well as having a suspicion that she was adopted, she did not mind as to her they were her true parents.

Professor McGonagall explained that there was no mistake and that the letter was correct before asking Ann and Stuart if they had not told Isadora that she was adopted. Her parents quickly asked how she knew that as the professor explained what happened during the first Wizarding War, how Isadora was thought to have perished at the hand of a dark wizard who gave her the scar on her forehead, that she looked just like her biological mother, a muggle-born witch named Lily Evans, and that the only reason she and the headmaster were aware of Isadora's survival as her name was not crossed out in the Book of Admittance for Hogwarts. McGonagall continued to explain that Isadora was the one who defeated the Dark Lord as an infant and must have been displaced instead of obviously perishing as they all had assumed. She further went on to explain that Isadora's biological father was still alive, and would learn the truth as soon as she arrived at the school as he was now a professor there.

Isadora told the elderly witch that while she always had a feeling that she was adopted, that these were her parents. She expressed her remorse for the death of Ms. Evans, but she had no desire to have a relationship with her biological family, believing that her biological father must have abandoned her and blamed her for the death of his wife, though did not express this to anyone. Izzy then politely declined the invitation to Hogwarts before leaving the room. Unfortunately, Minerva explained to Ann and Stuart that Isadora had no choice but to gain a magical education as untrained magical abilities could cause serious harm. As Isadora was already terrified of her magical abilities from a very young age, fearing that she would hurt her parents or anyone else she cared about, she tried to keep them hidden as best as she could. McGonagall further explained that if they did not willingly send her to the school, all three of them would have their memories erased of each other and Isadora would have to go by force. Izzy could return during breaks, especially for the holidays and the summer, but she was to attend Hogwarts during the school year.

When Ann and Stuart asked if there was a school that Isadora could attend here in America instead, McGonagall told her that there was, but Isadora had been destined for Hogwarts, and that Albus Dumbledore had told the Headmaster of Ilvermorny that Isadora would be attending Hogwarts instead as per her biological mother's wishes. Isadora was upset, but knew that she had no choice. Her parents came with her to purchase her school supplies, paying for everything after converting it to British wizarding money. They were even connected to the Floo Powder network to allow them to get to the Hogwarts Express to see their daughter off.

Arriving at the school, Isadora spoke with Professor McGonagall, who agreed to use the name her muggle parents gave her instead of her birth name, especially during the sorting ceremony. She told Isadora that even though she suspected that she was trying to hide herself from her biological father, he would immediately notice her upon seeing her, especially since she looked exactly like her biological mother with the exception of the lightning bolt shaped scar. Isadora decided to wear the hood that was attached to her robes to hide her appearance. When her name was called, Isadora made her way towards the stool and sat down upon it. Though the hat deliberated for several minutes, after Isadora's encounter with Draco Malfoy she asked not to be placed in Slytherin. which the hat found peculiar considering her biological father being the head of the house, though the hat did not inform her of this. She was the first hat stall in years, and the hat eventually gave in, sorting her into Gryffindor like her mother.

Unfortunately Isadora's abilities to read the thoughts and memories of others wandlessly and nonverbally had made it difficult for her to keep others out of her head. While she had managed to do so before her name was called and during the sorting hat's deliberation, she had exhausted herself to the point where she was unable to keep up the amount of control she had due to the vast amount of people gathered in the Great Hall. As Isadora stepped off of the stool, she became incredibly dizzy, placing her head in her hand for a moment before passing out down the steps leading down towards the Gryffindor table. As she lost consciousness, her hood fell, revealing her red hair and the unique scar on her forehead, something that was instantly noticed by someone that she wished to avoid contact with as soon as possible.

When Isadora woke up several hours later, she found herself in a strange place as an elderly woman dressed as an old fashioned nurse approached her. The elderly witch was Madam Pomfrey, the mediwitch for the school. She had one of the prefects fetch the potion's master as was requested by the professor as Madam Pomfrey examined the girl. Izzy had been informed that she was in the hospital wing and that she had taken a nasty spill. When the prefect returned, they were accompanied by a 6'1" man with greasy black hair that was dressed in all black robes. Izzy trembled as he approached, but the wizard reassured her that he was not there to harm her, as if he too was able to read her thoughts and memories. When he told her that she looked just like her mother, Izzy didn't say anything. She had always been an incredibly shy, yet kindhearted girl.

The professor's thumb then traced the lines of the scar on her forehead as he stared into her eyes, which Izzy found uncomfortable as she didn't know him, and what made it even worse was that she couldn't read him like she did the others, not that she did it intentionally. The professor then pulled her into an embrace as he called her his sweet little Isa. It was then that Izzy realized that this must have been the professor that was supposedly her biological father. She continued to feel uncomfortable, even long after the hug was over with the professor noting her broken arm that must have happened during the fall to Madam Pomfrey so she could fix it. The professor's name was Severus Snape, who revealed to her that he was her father. He apologized to her for failing to realize her displacement, wishing he had not gone into despair and assumed Isadora's demise as he appeared to read her thoughts. Snape then apologized for allowing those filthy muggles to raise her, something that deeply upset Isadora as she burst into tears before working up the courage to say that they were her parents and that they loved her more than anything else in the entire world. Severus' insult of her adoptive parents distressed her so much that it drove a wedge between them with Isadora actively avoiding Snape whenever she could because he thought they were beneath her. This greatly upset Snape who tried to get Isadora to speak to him, but she ended up bursting into tears whenever she was alone with him because she thought he was cruel and that she would never accept him as her father as a result.

yay someone new in my friends list - how cool is that *-* may.. wait -speak to myself- breathe ... Lucy... breathe ... stay cool -clear my throat-

Hi my name is Lucia Crabbe and even though I'm the little sister of Vincent and Silas, I have to say that I'm hopefully a bit "smarter" than you'd think from my last name and my "awesome" brother Vince.

There's not much to talk about me, except that I like to talk and experience things. It doesn't always have to be at school. Thank God there's always more than just school or lessons, isn't there?

You may have read my profile, if yes - great, if no, then let me know and I'll give you a little info about me, although I'm already prepared to be blocked afterwards.

But now I should stop babbling and give you the chance to introduce yourself. Silas always says "SHUT UP LUCY", maybe I should adopt that as my "motto" :)

so here's to hopefully soon
Lucy

Hi there
how are you doing

Hermione studied her reflection in the girl’s mirror in the bathroom. It was her sixth year and she was having difficulty with fitting in. It felt like first year all over again. Ronald was ignoring her because she had gone and snogged Viktor Krum. What a bloody pile of rubbish. How was she supposed to apologize for something that happened two years ago? Besides, it wasn’t like she and Ron were dating. He had been hellbent on getting a date for the Yule Ball that wasn’t her.

Hermione didn’t know why Harry had to pretend like he put Felix Felicis in Ron’s drink in the first place. It had caused so much trouble from them all, and she was also mad at her best friend. She knew she was being unfair towards Harry, but she blamed him a little bit, too.

She sighed softly. She was tired and wanted to reach the weekend. It would be easier to ignore Ron when she wasn’t seeing him and Lavender Brown in classes. That was another problem. Lavender Brown had become nothing more than a nuisance to Hermione and she didn’t like the way she was annoyed with the other girl.

Hermione had never been a fan of pitting girls against each other, but here she was, mad as hell at the overtly annoying Gryffindor. It was rather unbecoming. Sighing softly once more, she turned away from the mirror and headed out into the hallway. Of course, there was also Harry’s obsession with Draco Malfoy these days. He thought the git was a Death Eater. Like Voldemort would invite Draco Malfoy to be a Death Eater. Like he stood the chance of being considered worthy enough by Voldemort. It was disgusting.

Making her way through the corridors, Hermione headed back to the Gryffindor Common Room. She had been spending a lot of time in the library and down at Hagrid’s hut. She didn’t want to be around Ron more than she had to be - which was in classes - and she got to see one of her favorite professors that way. It was a lot easier like this.

She knew Harry and Dumbledore were off doing Harry’s private lessons and she was curious about them. What was Dumbledore teaching him? Was it the type of magic that would end Voldemort? She hoped so. She was tired of living in this constant state of fear. And the Ministry had done a splendid job all the year before of blundering things up for Dumbledore and the Order. Now they were desperate for his and Harrys’ help? Fat chance. Shaking her head, she continued on down the hallway, heading to the Common Room but half hoping she’d be stopped by a student who needed help so she didn’t have to see Ron just yet.
