Not only has the world turned the dead into monsters, the living has also become monsters. That would be no different for Sylas. A cunning bandit that has robbed, cheated, manipulated, maimed, and killed. This new world changed Sylas for the worst. That feeling of power over others is an addicting drug. A drug that Sylas craves and it allows him to survive in this dead world.
Sylas is an antagonist/evil character obviously. Sylas has no particular backstory after the start of the outbreak. He could be the leader of a bandit group, second in command, or someone in the mid-ranks somewhere. He can be an ally to other writer’s antagonist/evil characters or even be the “bad guy” within a group of survivors (similar to Merle Dixon when he rejoined Rick’s group). He will always try and do what he wants one way or another.
