Kimiya Briar Inez. (@itsmeitsmekimiya) was raised in a wealthy household in Bel-Air. She and her dad have an on and off bond, whereas her relationship with her mom isn’t so good. Briar’s father Branson's first marriage was to her mother Natlie they got married on July 8th, 1978.They had four children: three girls: Blane (born 1979), Briar (born 1980), Brooklyn (born 1984), and a son Rob (born 1987).

Briar's mother Natalie reaches her breaking point with Branson's lies and manipulations, growing disgusted by his treatment of Niko and his sister, whose father he recently had imprisoned for false drug charges. After establishing a scholarship of the Westbrooks, Branson threatens to take it away if Niko goes through with his intent to take Briar to the Penley winter formal. This leads to a heated argument between Natalie and Branson where Natalie brings up Bodhi's kidnapping as the source behind Branson's twisted behavior. She remains quiet about the reasons behind keeping Briar and Niko apart, and allows for both teenagers to fall under the impression that they were stood up by the other. As Natalie begins to determine that her marriage with Branson is over, she secretly begins construction on a custom built home in Charleston, South Carolina where she plans to live with all the kids, who she intends to reunite with once her divorce is finalized.

Natalie finally moves forward to divorce Branson, but the proceedings take a turn for the worse. Natalie sets fire to Branson's Monet painting, throws his exotic fish collection into the pool, and removes his yacht from what it was tied to, the Carrington Cruiser, and lets it drift out to sea. Natalie's divorce from Branson is finalized a year later, after Branson bribes Judge Paul Daniels to deem Natalie an unfit parent and to grant Branson full custody. Branson threatens to have Natalie thrown in prison if she objects to the ruling, so she admits defeat and escapes to Europe to start a new life for herself and find comfort in the arms of numerous counts and viceroys.

Having lost the kids, Natalie uses her divorce settlement to resume the search for Bodhi, seeking help from and ultimately being scammed by numerous private investigators and psychics. As the money runs out, Natalie loses faith in finding Adam and gives up on the search. She takes a trip to Jamaica where she meets Hank, and she concocts a plan to get back everything she lost by having him impersonate Bodhi to eventually reunite with the family.

Due to all this, Briar isn’t really a loving type of person. She is used to her dad being hard on her to push her to be the best she can be and well she had no mom around, so that’ll mess you up a little as well. Her lack of emotion also cost her a lot of relationships with guys she had dated.

Briar is super spoiled and is always underestimated by—and considered little more than a trophy to—her father, oil baron Branson Inez. Though she is as cunning and intelligent as he is, there are no women in the family business for some reason. Still, Briar is devoted to Branson and is wary and disdainful of his new wife (and former secretary) Nat. Briar is also close to her older sister. Blane, who is struggling with her sexual orientation. ( Will add in all the sisters as soon as we all have a SL worked out ).

When things didn’t work out with Branson and his second wife Isabela he went on with his life until he met Valentina Flores. Valentina had moved to America from Caracas, Venezuela and became employed by Inez Atlantic. She worked her way up from the bottom ranks and soon developed a relationship with CEO Branson Briar’s dad. After dating Branson for four months, they became engaged, much to Branson's daughter, Briar's dismay. Eventually Valentina moved in with them at Inez manor she had been dealing with the death of Marco and also keeping her past a secret from everyone. The only person who knows about her past is her nephew Reese. Over time Beckett and Bowie came along. Briar wasn’t happy about the two extra additions to the family. Val had somehow convinced Branson to finally be proud that he had daughters by giving them actual girl names, because her other daughters' names were not appropriate names for girls. So for the first few years of each of the new sisters Briar was very standoffish, but over time she began to form a bond with each of them.

Things quickly changed over the years when Val got the job as CEO Briar wanted. When she found out the real reason Val got the job and not her. Like any spoiled rich girl Briar didn't like most of the women he dated or married, because she thought they were all after his money and for some reason Val was shady as hell to Briar. The family had planned a party and invited all their friends. However, during the party, Val notices a letter to her. As she opens it, she finds a photo of Branson kissing another man. Val decides to confront him privately about the photo. Branson explains to her the photo and who the man he's kissing with. Val then asks him if there were others but he doesn't answer. Val tells him that he should leave without anyone knowing. He tries to apologize to her but she gets angry with him and tells him if he does not give her the job as CEO and not Briar she was going to tell everyone at the party he was gay. This shook Brasnon so he gave her the job right away. Later that night Val had gotten drunk and spilled the tea that she had a talk with her dad and they both thought her being eighteen at the time was a little too young to run the company, so that’s why her dad would be giving her the job and it pissed Briar off. From this point on the women were at each other's throats over any and everything they could find to fight about.

The incidents where Val’s former lover died in an explosion and her manipulative step-daughter Briar leaking her racy sex tape to get her out of the family for good finally pushed Valentina over the edge. After the crazy fight that knocked over the Christmas tree when she attacked her, Valentina reveals the whole truth about why she kept her past hidden with the help of Anders the butler. Valentina then revealed that she killed her sister's husband because he was so violent. She did it to defend her sister and her nephew. Heartbroken that she lied to Branson about her relationship with Marco and revealing her real name is Celia, she was full of regret. After all this Briar’s relationship with Valentina aka Celia got worse. Sadly Celia was murdered by both Claudia Blaisdel and Hank Sullivan. Claudia shot Celia in the abdomen and afterward, Hank set the house Celia was trapped in on fire. The Inez family were unable to save Celia before she succumbed to her injuries and died.

When Briar found out Blane had a secret ex-girlfriend she tried to protect Blane from Branson's wrath, she tries to keep Blane's ex-girlfriend Mia a secret and from contacting Blane but is unable to keep them apart. When Branson comes upon the two women in an embrace, he pushes Mia away from Blane. Mia falls, hits her head, and dies. Branson is arrested and charged with murder. Briar lies about her father's mental state on the witness stand, in an attempt to protect him. When a mysterious woman is called into the courtroom, Briar recognizes the witness as her long lost mother Natalie. Her dad was found not guilty and everything went back to normal for a while. When her mom came back that day Briar was in shock and mad as hell at her, but over time they grew a bond and became close again. Briar and her sister Bristol are very close. They talk about everything and love spending time together. Things changed after Blane's mental breakdown after suffering from manipulation caused by her ex-best friend, who assumed an alias and convinced Blane that she was losing her sanity. Blane's current state of mind is still iffy at times, but she has a lifestyle site that helps her deal with things.

After the drama with her sister Briar was really worried about her, but had to deal with the fact that she didn’t want to see anyone. A promiscuous Briar starts a secret relationship with her father's chauffeur Culhane knowing she has had an on and off flirtatious relationship with Branson's friend and business rival, Benjamin’s nephew, Niko and, she later agrees to marry Benjamin's nephew, Niko, to secure Benjamin's assistance when her father's company runs into financial trouble and the fact that she had found out she was carrying his child. Branson had even told Briar that he’d for sure give her the CEO job when she was old enough to have it if she did this for him. A jealous Culhane tells Branson about Briar’s arrangement, causing friction between father and daughter. When Niko learns that his marriage is just part of a business deal, he embarrasses Briar by drunkenly broadcasting the details to a room full of party guests. Briar is sympathetic to Niko, but still does not feel she can return his love. Due to her feeling so bad about this she stays with him to give the marriage a try. Sadly when Briar was nine months pregnant with Kenna two of her friends had died in a car crash and left their two kids Khalil ( three ) and Laila ( one ) behind with no one to adopt them. Briar jumped on this opportunity to foster and adopt them. A month later Kenna Iris Weston was born. Over time she starts to believe she is falling for him so it made the fact that she stayed with him feel less awful. While raising their daughter together Briar slowly began to realize that she still wasn’t in love with Niko and never had been. She began to resent the fact that she stayed in the marriage and let herself have a child with this man. She did the only thing she knew she could do to break his trust. She ran back to Culhane for comfort and it really backfired in her face because they hooked up and she became pregnant as a result of the affair. This ultimately caused the end of the marriage she had with Niko.

With all this going on and her not getting her dad's company like she wanted she decided she’d start a business of her own. Femperial Publishing (formerly Elcott Publishing) is a publishing company owned by Elodie. Briar originally acquired the company through the acquisition of NTNR, and later sold the company to Elodie, who in turn, sold it to a synergy group. After all the failures Briar faced she decided it was time to go back to college for a master's in business because she wanted to own another business of some kind and she knew it’d be a good idea to get a degree due to her other ones failing due to her lack of knowledge in running a business alone. Two years later Briar was fresh out of school and running her first business 24 Karat Klothing a high-end luxury clothing store with her sisters as well as a luxury designer resale site Twice but Nice that they all run together to sell all of their old designer clothes that just sit in their closet and don't really get touched anymore. After running these two businesses with her sisters for a few years Briar decided that she wanted to launch a makeup line. She decided to call it KKW Beauty, because it has a very special meaning to her. It’s her two girls' first initial and their last name.

At first she did a litmus test of sorts before launching KKW Beauty by teaming with Bowie on a KKW by Bowie Cosmetics crème lipstick collection a few months prior. The collaboration generated $13.5 million in sales. After the launch of KKW Beauty, Kardashian entered the fragrance space with KKW Fragrance later that November by launching a trio of crystal-themed fragrances. Both her makeup and fragrance businesses have grown exponentially since launching three years ago. Briar has expanded the beauty line to virtually all makeup products and the fragrance brand to over six scent pillars. She’s also embarked on several collaborations, including with the likes of Winnie Harlow, Mario Dedivanovic and other members of the Inez-Flores family.

With business busier than ever, Briar's anxiety began to spark up more often and was told about a smoke shop that just recently opened. When she walked in she noticed a really pretty blonde working the counter, her style was intriguing. She decided to go over and talk with her, finding that her name was Ava. Briar decided to ask if she'd be willing to model for her makeup to help her promote her brand and get customers to buy the makeup online. Ava was happy to help her so she agreed to the offer. After a few months of Ava modeling for her they became really close and in the midst of creating their friendship found out that they had shared a mutual friend. What a small world. Business was booming but she wanted to deal with clothing as well, but she didn't know where to begin. She asked a friend for help and after a few months she was selling her shapewear brand SkimsByBriar. She ended up getting an offer to do a reality show with her family, but her dad is super private. She decided the best way to give them a look into the family’s life they’d start a mini show series on youtube where they vlog them hanging out or do one of them all on vacation.

The past few years on top of running her businesses Briar has worked in the area of prison reform, advocating for the commutation of the sentence of Chris Young and also of Alice Marie Johnson, a woman who received a life sentence for a first-time drug offense as the leader of a major cocaine ring in Tennessee which was granted by the President in June 2018. Along with Van Jones and Jared Kushner, she was instrumental in persuading President Trump to support the First Step Act, which enacted major reforms in the US prison system. Van Jones later stated that without Briar, the act would have never passed because it would not have received the president's support. It was later passed by a great majority in the US Senate In early 2019, Briar largely funded the 90 Days to Freedom campaign, an initiative to release nonviolent drug offenders from life sentences by attorneys Brittany K. Barnett and MiAngel Cody. The effort resulted in 17 persons being released under provisions of the First Step Act. Briar was widely credited for the success of the campaign in media headlines. Commentary on her involvement ranged from praise, to assertions that it was a public relations stunt, to accusations that she was taking the credit for work she did not do. In a Facebook post from May 7 of that year, Barnett commented on the divisive and underfunded nature of the "criminal justice reform space", adding, "Briar linked arms with us to support us when foundations turned us down. We and our clients and their families have a lot of love for her and are deeply grateful for her." Not long after that, Briar did an interview with Vogue and told them was studying to pass the bar exam; instead of attending law school, she is "reading law".

Briar failed her first-year law exam (the baby bar) for a second time, performing "slightly worse" than her first attempt earlier in the year. After a few months of studying she finally passed the "baby bar" law exam on her fourth attempt. Briar was robbed at gunpoint on 05/02/2022 of jewelry worth at least 8 million dollars, or nearly $9 million dollars. She was alone in a luxurious resort in Cabo, nearly two miles from the restaurant she had dinner at, when two men burst in, tied her up and gagged her and hit her with the gun they had a few times to keep her quiet, then escaped with at least three accomplices. After the robbery was announced, several critics expressed skepticism about whether it was staged or not, with some even drawing comparison to Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte's recent false robbery claim. On October 10, 2022, a video was released showing Inez immediately after the robbery, as police began conducting their investigation. In the video, she is seen using the cell phone that she had reported stolen, and did not have any of the markings she claimed from being bound by her captors, prompting more questions as to whether or not the events were staged. In response, Inez filed lawsuits against several media outlets the following day, and secured a gag order to get the video removed from any articles due to it being part of an active police investigation. On October 25, 2022, Inez dropped the lawsuit, prompting more criticism that the robbery was a ploy to generate media attention.

On January 9, 2023, French police detained 17 persons of interest for questioning in the robbery case. Later in 2023, 16 people were arrested for their alleged involvement. It was revealed in 2024 that Mexican prosecutors would seek trial for 12 of the suspects. The suspects who allegedly entered her room were of, or near, senior age and were named the 'Grandpa Robbers' by the press. The suspects were still awaiting trial with at least one of the five who entered Inez's room reportedly set to plead no contest to the charges.She moved to her Tuscany Italy home while preparing for her winery launch after everything that had happened.

After her whinery was up and running , Inez and Beats Electronics launched a collaborative range of true wireless earbuds in an earth tone palette inspired by her "signature minimalist style". That September, Dolce & Gabbana debuted its spring-summer collection, which Inez creatively directed—taking after the fashion house's archive "with a retrospective of [the years 1987–2007]"— by leaning into an alter ego of "a sensual Italian mob wife". Under an exclusive deal with Spotify, she hosted and co-produced the eight-episode podcast The System: The Case of Kevin Keith with network Parcast. It outlines the discrepancies of Keith's case, in which he was convicted of triple homicide in 1994 in Ohio.

Inez co-led the twelfth season of American Horror Story, subtitled Delicate, alongside Emma Roberts. Her first scripted television role, she starred as Siobhan Corbyn, the protagonist's best friend and publicist. The season is based on Danielle Valentine's novel Delicate Condition; it was divided into two parts, which premiered in September 2023 and April 2024 on FX. Production for the season temporarily halted due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes. In November 2023, it was announced that Inez is set to star in the comedy film The Fifth Wheel, which has been sold to Netflix. She is set to act and produce with Paula Pell. She will executive produce and star as the protagonist in an untitled Hulu legal drama series created by Ryan Murphy; production will begin in late 2024.
