● Biography:His father came from a long line of wizards and witches. His mother came from a long line of Phoenix she had been born and raised in Egypt. His father had become an archaeologist enjoying the love of hunting down things from the past and understanding them. He got that from studying the magical line of his family and decided he wanted to study other traditions and cultures as well.
Ianto Radcliff had come to Egypt to work on a dig that was taking place. Archaeology was still a new thing in those days but the adventure of learning new things. The year was 1801. While he was there he had met a few other witches who wanted to make sure to have some connections in that area as well as with the humans. That was when he met a beautiful woman named Layla who was a Phoenix that was interesting to him. She was a healer and worked with the doctors she rarely used her tears unless it was a last option.
Ianto became curious about her and about her species. Not to mention she was beautiful and tall. He was already a tall man at about 6’1 she was about 5’9. They spent a lot of time together when he was not busy with the dig. They fell in love quickly and against her family's wishes they married about six months after that. The dig was going to take a year or more. They found out she was pregnant they were both excited. Layla's family had come around they were good people. They were gentle and caring, so they accepted Ianto into the family.
Their son was born there in Egypt. Layla stayed in Cario whenever he went to work on the dig. Mostly because that was no place for a baby. After the dig was over their son Lucas was about a year old. He was named after his grandfather who had died right before he had come on this trip. They had been close, and he wanted his son to hold the name of a very precious person. It was time to head back to London, England, and his father had decided while his son was young he would just work at the museum so he could help raise the boy.
Ianto's family had already known that he had married a Phoenix they accepted it but were not that happy about it. Though they knew that they wanted to keep their son close. Because he was the most powerful. Lucas was trained by his father and his uncle in the way of magic. Ianto leaned quickly from both parents. He also became just as strong as his father in magic. He learned to shift into the phoenix, but they did it rarely because of the fact their shift was so big and would be noticed. Though they went into the woods and camped in the warm weather where he was free to shift and fly with his mother.
IHe had also been taught the history of his mother's side. The fact that she reported once already. Like his father, he enjoyed it because he learned a lot about Egypt from her first life. Like his father, he took on the love of learning things that were out in the world. He went to school to become an archeologist. His father died at the age of seventy-five. His mother traveled with him as he explored he came from old money on his father's side. About forty years after his father died, his mother died and had her second rebirth and her third life.
When his mother was reported when they were traveling. They were in Egypt visiting her mother's side of the family. He came back to England from normal wood. He had to make sure the nonsupernatural world knew that his mother had died. His mother stayed in Egypt while she was just a baby. He would miss his mother, but this was the safest way for things to go. His father's family got him to Egypt about the time for his own rebirth where he got there about a week and then the family came back with the baby and Ianto's mother saying that they had adopted the boy.
His mother and he moved to another part of England so as to not get any of his father's family friends who were not supernatural not suspicious about the fact that they both looked like people who were supposed to have died. When he was in college, his mother went back to be with her family in Egypt. About four years later, his uncle came to visit, telling him that hunters had come and killed their whole family and his mother. He lived his life unsure of what to do. He knew that his parents would want him to live on and do good for the world. He had yet to fall in love with himself or have a family. But he had lovers.
After his second rebirth. Friends of his father's family adopted him and took him to America where they raised him. That had been his wish after he was close to his rebirth. They were humans that knew of his family heritage of being magical. So he was being raised in Manhattan, New York where he studied hard. He had decided to take on a different study than an archaeologist. He graduated at the age of fifteen. So he started to study literature. He wrote his first published work when he was about seventeen. He started writing novels that were about London, England in the Victorian Era and they were Mystery novels. He became an English Teacher in high school.
