Herbert West, a small, slender, spectacled doctor with delicate features, yellow hair, pale blue eyes, and a soft voice. In spite of his small and unintimidating stature, he is highly intelligent, charismatic, and ruthlessly manipulative. A former student of the infamous Miskatonic University, he became obsessed with reversing death after his family perished in a fire. This led him to creating a serum that revived the dead, but drove them completely mad. He uses the bodies in the morgue of the hospital he works at to continue his experiments and research.
